Rise and Fall of The Soviet Union

This is the sixth interactive ebook of a series on modern world history for high school students and teachers. This volume focuses on the Soviet Union, including sections on Marxism, Czarist Russia, the Communist Revolution, Stalinism, and the Fall of the Soviet. Unlike almost all textbooks, high school teachers wrote, designed, edited, and published this text to engage students in an in-depth analysis of the story of modern world history.

We will continue to revise and update the books. The next volume will be on the Rise and Fall of Communism in China and will be complete in late February 2015. The last volume on the Contemporary World will be published in March 2016 and will include selected case studies on various countries from regions around the world.
