Reviews
Loved this series
5By Reader Girl TiffOne of my favorites by this author. Surprised it hasn’t gotten more attention.Just WOW!
5By JessinchristI can’t be more amazed than I am now!Same as Book 1
2By Meme112I did not like how this was almost the exact same book as book 1. I enjoyed the new pieces from Holder’s perspective but did not like rereading so much of the first book.losing hope
4By horrible services !It was good, although I wish it went more into detail and talk about their relationship after the situation in hopeless. Overall it was good and I will be reading again because I love their chemistry.Great Read
5By BeachBum325This book expands on Hopeless…Losing Hope
5By MaryJean65I am absolutely loving their story!Repeat
5By Alli ZawadzkiIt was a good book, just like the first one. It was a little too repetitive for me and i didn’t like knowing what was already gonna happen because of the first book. However, I enjoyed the elaborated ending and how it went further than the first book.Just a repeat
1By Honey26Just the same as book 1. It’s just Deans point of view. I had to force through it because I already knew what was gonna happen. Really was boring.Losing hope
5By diana renfroeVery little that was not in previous book. Wish I had not purchasedRepetitive
3By lexibrownnxThe sequel is basically just everything retold from holders point of view with rarely new content. A decent read and it was cute to see it from his but overall repetitive and a waste of a read sadly. I wish it was more new content and I LOVED the first book so I’m so disappointedGood but not great
3By SquidLP95As the second book in this series, I felt like it was basically a repeat of the first book with a few chapters of additional insight to the other characters point of view. I do love how crazy this story line is and definitely kept my attention, I just wish there was more variation between the first and second book of this series.Losing hope….
5By ShanialoveschloeThis is such an amazing book with such a deep, warming story behind it. However, trigger warning to some, there are some very strong topics tied into the novel.Mostly a repeat
2By ScrantonStranglerrTook me only a couple hours to read. Only the journal entries and a few paragraphs were different from the first book. I had to skip through so much because I had just read the exact same story with the exact same quotes from Sky’s point of view. Almost copied and pasted %75 of the first book. I would have loved to have read more about who Holder was before he found Sky or about their relationship after the main plot. Maybe could’ve dug into his relationship with his sister a little more or her relationship with the ex boyfriend. I love all of Colleen Hoover’s books that I’ve read so far, but this one was disappointing and seemed rushed.Losing hope
4By CyJumperI love all of Colleen’s books but sometimes in the series they get too repetitiveLosing hope
2By SwildsLoved itSo very repetitive.
1By gidgybI like everything I’ve read from Colleen Hoover. Until this point. I felt like i was skipping so many pages just to see what was in the suicide note. It seemed to be the only thing worth looking forward to. I do appreciate the ending and the extra insight into what happened during the month they did not speak, but it did not take long for me to realize this “other perspective” was the same story twice. Ive appreciated Colleen’s ability to write from two perspectives, but when you’re switching chapter to chapter you are moving along in the story line instead of adding massive amounts of repetition. This book almost felt like she needed to hurry to meet a deadline. So very disappointing in comparison to her other amazing work. Ill not be finishing this series, and will be more cautious about the books i purchase in the future. The perfect end to this specific story
5By ashes_212I read the first book “Hopeless” recently and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it but I was even more thrilled to find this second book. Seeing how Sky and Holder both work through their trauma together from both perspectives really helps create a better picture of the story itself. It’s a beautiful book and I recommend it highly for those who know what it feels like to love passionately because Colleen Hoover hit the nail right on the head with this series.completely obsessed
5By Mckaylamarrryugh i love this from holder’s perspective 😩Same
3By Rymurph7Too much repetition from the first book.
