2By Ninamar11I’d say I’m a fan of Colleen’s. I’ve read the majority of her books and have always enjoyed the journey each one takes you on. My biggest critique would be that the love scenes in almost all of her books are quite foolish, exaggerated and generally super unrealistic (I’m mainly referring to the dialogue between the characters in these scenes). Although I’m usually able to read through it, I simply couldn’t with this book. There’s a lot I skipped over because of how cringey the dialog is — especially between characters who have known each other for less than two days. This is the longest it’s taken me to get through one of her books because of how off-putting the interaction between the characters is. I’m only going to finish it because people have mentioned that they enjoyed the ending and now I’m too curious not to. I wouldn’t suggest this one to anyone — read her other books instead.amazinggggggg
