Pure seduction from start to finish
5By Waiting to be fixed4.75 stars This is the first book in A Villain’s Duet, and it is one seductive read from beginning to end. Oriana is married to her rock star husband, Kyler but their relationship has become a little staid to the point where changes need to be made. Jake is a club owner with ties to certain individuals who do some unscrupulous things, but he does what he can to protect the unprotected. On a night out with the girls, Oriana’s life is upended, and Jake comes to her rescue and here is where things get going. It is almost as if Jake is a spider and is enticing Oriana to come into his web to explore her true desires. Overall, this is one fast paced read of self-discovery with a strong protagonist who shows what she is made of and the man who brings it out with his actions and words. I look forward to reading the next book.
