At the heart of The Husband’s Secret is a letter that’s not meant to be read
My darling Cecilia, if you’re reading this, then I’ve died. . .
Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive. . . .
Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all—she’s an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. Her life is as orderly and spotless as her home. But that letter is about to change everything, and not just for her: Rachel and Tess barely know Cecilia—or each other—but they too are about to feel the earth-shattering repercussions of her husband’s secret.
Acclaimed author Liane Moriarty has written a gripping, thought-provoking novel about how well it is really possible to know our spouses—and, ultimately, ourselves.
Reviews
Wow
5By bella's bffJust wow! Complicated plot, well developed characters. What a story, fantastic in many ways, and yet perfectly believable. Great book, couldn’t put it down.Really enjoyed this book
5By sarcadticI loved this book. The ending was sad. Shows us all how lies hurt. Not My Cup of Tea
2By DnacoleFor me, this book jumped round way too much from one group of characters to another without anything tying together for a very long time and this happened each chapter, making it very hard to keep track of everyone and to follow the storyline. The sheer number of characters made it hard to keep track of who was who. I kept hoping it was going to start tying together and getting better so I stuck it out but I really wish I hadn’t. The ending was an odd wrap up as well.Wow didn’t see that coming.
5By PattydotcomGreat read. Had to limit myself to 20 pages a day or I would not have been able to put it downGreat Plot Twists
5By SukayharGreat read and character development.Great story
5By pink dreamsFound it a bit hard to get into at the beginning but once I knew who was who I loved it and couldn’t put it down.Great book!

4By Gram x 5Good book. Read it in two days.Captivating
5By B. CarlaVKeeps on your toes. Every chapter is exciting & a page turner . Well done!Disappointed
3By Rlmurra2Each of the characters’ situations seemed to have that one shock moment then just drag on and on..while the author made a connection between the characters with each other, it seemed forced, not a fluid connection between them. I appreciate that the big “secret” came out mid-book and not at the end. This book just didn’t do it for me. This is the 2nd book I’ve read by this author, first was “The Last Anniversary” which I think was a free Prime reading book and I loved it, so I hope I enjoy her other books as well.Save your time…don’t read
1By mrs.muenchThe story reared it’s peak once we found out what was in the letter. It felt like the rest of the book was just a bunch of random run on sentences to fill the chapters. Definitely not worth the read.Husband’s Secret
5By Janep1Excellent readExcellent!
5By Lacey KHCouldn’t put it down! The Husbands Secret
5By KandleI couldn’t stop reading this wonderful book. Absolutely a five star.Skip the last two chapters
2By NicovisionThis was an excellent book until it randomly for some reason threw out all the fascinating, challenging, and beautiful realities of life to tie a grotesque everyone-must-be-an-undivorced-happily-married-mother bow on the end. I regret reading the whole book.PURE GENIUS
5By Cortnee BrookeThis women(author)is unreal! Anything she creates when it involves putting pen to paper is pure genius! Love anything she creates….The Husbands secret
5By leenie girlLoved The Husbands secret!Highly recommend

4By Krisb0411Although the book started off slow it managed to keep my attention throughout. The back and forth at times was a bit confusing but overall it was a decent read. I appreciated the ending, it gave me more to think about.
