Another great Fool’s Gold book!
5By AngieMac4398Once again, we are transported to this mythical town of Fool's Gold and all of it's quirkiness, love and fun times. We've known Jack and Larissa for quite a few books and had hints that they'd be together eventually. The funny thing was it took Larrissa's mom pointing it out for them to realize they had feelings for each other. Then suddenly, everything is different. Their friendship/partnership undergoes a lot of changes and they finally see what they mean to each other. But what to do about it? Well, Susan takes them on a roller coaster ride to finally arrive at their HEA. I laughed, cried and cheered them on at various intervals. I might have even wanted to smack Jack upside the head a few times, but he finally got his act together. Grab this latest installment of the Fool's Gold series now. And wait impatiently with me until next year's Fool's Gold trilogy starts again. Way to go, Susan! I've never been disappointed in a single book in this series and love them all for different reasons. Thank you for taking us along with old and new friends in this wonderful town.Fools Gold... It's not over yet
3By t_hwyI have read every book in this series, and although I love it, as it goes on it's starting to get repetitive and predictable. The last couple of books, I feel that the author is trying too hard to set up the next book. So much time is spent introducing new characters that it takes away from the current story, and it gets distracting. I will continue reading until the end because I love the town and characters. I just wish Susan Mallery would focus on one book at a time.Great!

5By rlamltGreat romance series. I can't wait for the next book. It's like coming home again!
5By Cheryl SDSThis latest addition of Fool's Gold stories is about Larissa and Jack. If there were ever two people more suited for each other I've never seen them. Larissa realizes she's in love with Jack but convincing him to give a relationship a chance is going to be a tough one. The friendship between the four partners at Score and Larissa is envious. Seeing Jack turn into a complete jerk was shocking! Larissa's such an amazing woman, so full of love and compassion and seeing her suffer through such devastating meanness from Jack was very emotionally crushing. I stopped getting up to get a Kleenex and just brought the whole box with me to my reading cave. Watching Jack hurt Percy was also heart wrenching. I loved the "no bull" attitude Jack received from Sam and Kenny. Fantastic story line! Jack's problems stem back from when he was a child, so getting him to work through them takes a lot! As you know reading a Fool's Gold romance is not just about two people falling in love. It's about the background stories involving the town and being introduced to new projects or businesses. It's wonderful watching Mayor Marsha do her thing. I love revisiting characters from previous books and being introduced to characters from future books. Being in Fool's Gold is like coming home again and I can't wait to come back.Great Book!
