Having read all of the books so far in the Fool's Gold series, this one is one of my favorites. the characters are very well written and very likable. The storyline was more honest, realistic and deeper than some of the other books in the series. Definitely a must read!

Great story with Del and Maya. Fools Gold keeps getting better and better.

As usual, Susan Mallery takes us back to our favorite town of Fool's Gold an brings us another wonderful story of lost love found! I'm looking forward to the next adventure!

Mayor Marsha strikes again! This time the mayor of Fool's Gold offers Maya a job that has her confronting her old flame, Del Mitchell. Maya's relationship with the townspeople and more importantly, Del's mother make this a story of loyalty and trust on a number of levels.

Just when I was ready to write off Fool's Gold as jumping the shark, Susan Mallery has done it again - she has sucked me back in and made me fall in love with Fool's Gold all over again. As with all of Susan Mallery's book, Thrill Me is a very well written book. The storyline flows effortlessly, the development of the characters is compelling, and the emotion is woven wonderfully into the story until you can no longer tell whether the emotions you are feeling are yours or the characters in the book. I found myself tearing up several times while reading this book - a sure sign that the author has created a book that touches your heart. I think what struck me the most about Del and Maya's relationship is that it just happens. It didn't happen like a normal relationship - boy meets girl, boy asks girl out, girl stresses over what to wear, boy and girl date, boy and girl kiss, boy and girl have sex. Del and Maya had a relationship previously, so it was natural for them to reconnect when they both found themselves back in town and working together. A comfortable working relationship progresses into a couple of innocent kisses, and then Del and Maya are back together again. And then they're just working partners again, and then they're together. They never define their relationship - they just happen into it. It is especially interesting when the characters observe that's how their relationship happened. I love the brother dynamic of the Mitchell brothers. Del is a wonderful character with a great personality and fills his own spot in the family, but the author has opened the door to a lot of future stories about the Mitchell brothers by showing secrets that each of them is holding close - there are many we are only teased with and don't know the complete story yet, ourselves. And I look forward to heading to Happily, Inc. where two of the brothers have moved. Susan Mallery hit a home run with Thrill Me and has a recommitted fan of Fool's Gold. Just when I was ready to close the door on a great small town, deciding their stories had all been told, she has set us up for so many stories in the future.

This book is very slow and did not keep my attention at all. I'm halfway through and I don't think I will be able to finish reading it.

Susan Mallery at her finest. :) I absolutely love her Fools Gold series and always look forward to reading the next. Meeting new characters along the way, and learning more and more about returning characters. Thrill me was def no disappointment. I always love to hear about an old flame rekindled. This love story made me want to join in and travel the world to help them in their adventure. With plot twists in love keeping you at the edge of your seat until the end. Never know what will happen once your in Fools Gold. Excellent Read!!

This story is about Del and Maya. They met in high school and was going to get married. But that didn't happen. 10 years later Mayor Marsha gives them both a job working together. With a lot of secrets, trusting one another is really hard. All the stuff in between is is gut wrenching, characters became real and watery eyes too. Whew!.....

I really enjoyed this story and all the twists and turns. It will not disappoint. The end brought tears to my eyes. Loved getting to know Maya and Del.

Thrill Me, the story of Maya and Del Mitchell, the oldest of five boys. Mayor Marsha brings the two together to produce promotional videos to promote Fool's Gold new slogan,about romance. The two were each other's first loves ten years ago when Maya left with no warning ut or reason. Del went on to find his fame and fortune and now they are thrust together. The Mitchell family featuring Caeliach, the famous and self absorbed father and Elaine, the matriarch who, although living with her demanding husband remains because she loves him. This family is steeped in secrets, which Del despises above all, and when Elaine asks Maya to keep the secret that she is ill at all cost, Maya knows Del will feel betrayed When the family finds out, Del is furious with Maya. The all the dark secrets surface, stunning the family. Maya decides to ,eave Fool's Gold because of her broken heat, ,Ames one last video telling Del of her love. Watching it he discovers he loves her too. Will the Mitchell family survive all the secrets? Only Susan knows and I for one, can't wait!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Maya and Del.....what a pair. It is always hard to get over your first love.....esp when she ran away! I love how the couple work through their issues. Ms Mallery always keeps it real! Thank you for sharing Fool's Gold with us! And as always Eddie and Gladys keep us laughing!

4.5 Stars Del and Maya were young, wanted to run away and get married. Maya got scared, called it all off and left town. Now, 10 years later, they're both back in Fool's Gold and the attraction is still burning for her but she's not sure about Del. She lied the first time around can he trust her again? Here we are again in one of my favorite little fictional towns, Fool's Gold. This time we're here for Del and Maya. A beautiful second chance love story. I have loved every single Fool's Gold book I've read. Some more than others and this one is no exception. The story line, the town and the people were great. The only problem I have is with Del. I was just not feeling the love. Maya loved him and it showed in her word and deed. I feel none of that with him. I know he loved her but it looked only casual. Regardless, it was still a great story. Gladys and Eddie? I love those old ladies! They are a hoot and just all-around beautiful people. I can't wait for another return trip to Fool's Gold.
