Cindy and Mattheus part ways, and while he stays in the Caribbean to protect his daughter and her mother, she returns home. Cindy’s sister, Ann, meets her at the airport to welcome her back to this new chapter of her life.

Cindy starts to settle back in, to meet old friends and make plans to take on a new job—when a shocking call suddenly comes. It is a call Cindy never could have expected in her wildest dreams, a call that rips her world apart. Someone close to her—too close—has been found murdered in Bermuda.

Cindy has no choice but to get on the next plane to Bermuda and hunt for the killer. Before long, Cindy finds herself enmeshed in an underworld of big business and crime. Beside herself, hitting dead ends, Cindy is forced to call Mattheus to help.

Once again, their stormy relationship deepens and takes a new turn, as they plunge into solving this crime together. But it all may be too late….

All stories good. Love the author. However each book has so many errors that should have been caught. This is no different. Even mixes up character names. Very distracting. Fire your proofreader

I wanted to love this book.... Read all 10 so far.... More because I am an avid reader and like continuing stories rather than the fact that they were well written. First of all these books need to be better proof read before publishing.....too many type-o's and redundancies in the script. Also they didn't always flow from one to the next. Felt the main characters had too many contradictory flaws in their story lines. Cindy is supposed to be a strong forthright character, but yet too often the author made her out to be a bit of a patsy to others.... Too contradictory to make her believable. It bothered me... Also the fact that she always packed silks and sweaters on every case.... Was a bit strange to me....

I found the tremendous amount of spelling and grammatical errors in this book to be very distracting. It got to the point that I was looking for the errors rather than enjoying the book.
  • Worse than a Harlequin romance

Sorry, but the book sounded like it was a ninth- grade writing project. Boring. Poorly written. Horrible proof reading in both sentence structure, use of words (double use of words in sentences made hard to read because no word should have been placed there), vocabulary very juvenile, punctuation just as bad. Not even tempted to try another one.

After I read all the book I thought it is a usual think but still the very end of the story and series is still far away I guess a great book I really love it But there are characters that are mentioned one time the series always ends with the same way the same major person gets in the same kind of danger and is rescued with the same way

While the book is good the excessive typos make for a difficult read.
