5By Whim1954But I must say that this is my favorite story. I love the sarcastic wit of Penelope and her verbal parries with Colin and the way they brought out the best in each other. If new to the series, don’t pass this one up, this said by a SFF/mystery fan who NEVER used to read romances until this series popped up and I was captivated by the cover art. PS I suspected all along who Lady Whistledown was.Great

2By ChampJ35U5I enjoyed the witty banter and sarcasm in the beginning but once the big reveal happens in the middle Colin’s attitude and behavior takes a turn for the worst. You could even call has behavior abusive. Extremely disturbing. I couldn’t enjoy the romance and love scenes after that. Had to put it down.Great

5By nancyS-WardGreat rom-com and love how the Bridgerton family stories continue to unfold. Can’t wait for the Netflix series to start to see how close it will be to the book! The best part is that having seen the 2 previous episodes I don’t need to imagine how they all look like and get disappointed when the series starts bc I can actually visualize them as I read the book. Love these characters and the books! I’m hooked on Julia Quinn!!!
