Her sudden recovery astonishes medical science.
An enigmatic woman convinces Bibi that she escaped death so that she can save someone else. Someone named Ashley Bell.

Ashley Bell
4By Rvrlvr1The story was fascinating but did drag in places—I thought the ending could have been better but I stayed with it because the story was different and good. Congratulations on the story.Ashley Bell
5By candywentworthSuch a refreshing storyline. Very unexpected twist and turns. I would like a sequel, please. Well written characters, although a little too perfect. Not a f—k up amongst them. Makes them all too saccharine. Can that many people love her soooo much?Horrible
1By JAM526Just horribleOkay
3By antfamI was totally enjoying this book from the very beginning but as the book transitioned I felt that Koontz became bogged down in the Literary universe that he was trying to create The second half became clichéd and tried too hard to be clever the last chapter left me feeling annoyed that the story was still continuing Nevertheless 3 stars for the beginning, for originality, and because I still wanted to finish itMizzDepp
1By MizzDeppAs much as I admirer Koontz, I was very disappointed with this book. It was super boring. Horribly written. 😕Imagination knows no bounds
5By RustyshingleAs always another excellent novel by koontz. Not Dean Koontz's Best
2By Odie092Long story with weak plot.Readable, but could have been better
3By NobodyUnoeAmazing positive female archetype for the protagonist, rarely seen in a novel, the story however bogs down with mildly tedious descriptions of surroundings that are obvious word count padding and devices to slow the story down. Every few pages, obscure words appear that only literati and those with degrees in English and literature would understand without the aid of a dictionary. Slightly disappointing ending that looses steam. I didn't hate it, and definitely have seen a lot worse, but am still debating whether or not to explore his other works.LITERAL ADDICTION’s Review of Ashley Bell
5By Literal Addiction's Pack AlphaOur Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle: I'm a huge Koontz fan. I've read everything he's ever written and am generally utterly captivated. There was only one book that I was a little disappointed by. This was not one of them. Koontz consistently delivers strong characters and this book was no exception. Add to that the light and airy quality of the prose and the story pace and I was hooked. Slightly different from other Koontz works, Ashley Bell is no less enthralling and after a few years, I think this will be one I would pick up again.Eloquently written.
5By Running OhmaI could not put this book down. So well written, detailed, and intriguing. Mr Koontz weaves a story that captures the full attention of the reader. The descriptions are very articulate and engaging leaving the reader with a clear visual picture of what is transpiring. The story is spellbinding! I highly recommend it!Ashley Bell
2By Say-Say JaneUnfortunately, not up to his usual standards.Ashley Bell
1By Follow up?Sadly, although I have bought many of his books, and enjoyed the older ones, this will be the last book I purchase by Dean Koontz. The last few I have bought have been disappointing, but this one takes the cake! Sadly, it was not worth the money spent to buy it, nor the time to finish reading it.Ashley Bell
5By DolleygripThis my first time reading a book by this author. It was fabulous and I can't wait to read everything he has written.Excellent
5By DdsssaopA great tale. Perhaps one of his best.Nope
1By KiraaakbI was hoping this book would somehow get better, but inevitably it just got worse and worse. Some of the tangents and deep development with characters were pointless. You're waiting for this big reveal and twist to pull together, but it never does and leaves you dissatisfied and a bit confused. Do not recommend wasting your time on this 700+ book that never really gets off the ground.Ashley bell
1By Oshi fishVery disappointed in this book. I have been a fan of D.K.since I read my first book, Whispers. This whole book was just plain boring. I thought I would never wade through to the end. If it had been a real book other than on my iPad I would have thrown it. Preferably in the trash.Ridiculous !
1By Spiff410While This book is well written the plot is absolutely ridiculous !! Even though I wanted to stop reading it I did not (I always finish a book). With each turn of the page I thought surely to God this is not the plot line and these things are really not happening. I do not recommend this book and would not waste your time reading it!Strangest Tale Ever Written
5By MikbonI've been a fan of Dean Koontz for many years and have read most of his books . I also read other authors of horror such as Stephen King. I can truthfully say that this is the only book that really, really scared me and scares me still. I could never guess what was coming, never foresee the twists and turns. I reread the ending four times. I don't want to give anything away but if you are a fan of strange unexplainable things that happen in this world, don't miss this book.Love Koontz's style
5By TKD master LindaAs usual Koontz mixes suspense, humor, and the power of good vs. evil. Love this author and the plot of this book took a number of unexpected turns. Difficult to put it down.
