Jamie has to learn to love herself again, speak up for herself and have the confidence to go after what she wants. She also needs to prove to Alex that she's perfect for her job and for his bed.

2By kl0006This collection of books was so frustrating I couldn’t finish, got 2/3 through the last one and called it quits. Jamie is an absolute DOORMAT and never ever confronts a situation head on. Alex is a commitment-phobe jerk. They have the exact same conversation over and over and over and over again. You could cut all of this into one book if you cut out all the repetitive stupid crap. Don’t waste your time.Must read!

It’s so fatphobic, and when did a size 12 make someone a “beached whale” as the heroine is called. I mean every page talks about how big this woman is when she barely hits a double digit dress size. Beyond disgusting. Author should be ashamed.Rough

1By THeBUrntWAffleJamie had absolutely no backbone. Read the first book and the first four chapters of the second book and had to stop. She is a complete doormat and acknowledges that. Says that she’s going to change and not take crap from her extremely toxic family that give Cinderella’s family a run for their money (at least Cind. knows where she stands with them), but still does all of their bidding and puts up with things I’d never take. Then in the second book she claims she only wants a professional relationship and then asks about Alex’s personal problems and is frustrated when he doesn’t share like that’s somehow information she should be privy to. No. No. No.Love them
