Description
Sometimes, one must go against the tide…
Gabriella – Gabby for short – desperately needs a holiday. She's worked way too hard, just lost her father and wants a break. From everything. She books a stay at a picturesque cottage by the sea. No phone, no internet, no neighbors – just books, a bottle of wine and the beach. A month without distraction and a chance to find herself again.
Until a hunk of a guy suddenly shows up catching her sunbathing in her birthday suit. The man is hot as sin. Jake Wolfe is cocky and stubborn too.
Double booked. Double trouble.
Stuck on an island with a stranger, they try to make the best of it, but get on each other's nerves. When a drunken night leads to steamy passion, they realize something's brewing, and like the unpredictability of stormy weather, things could get rough

Surging Tide
2By winegal4someNot a stand alone book, first of more.Half a Story
1By OCSLBThis did say that it was part of a 3 book series, but the story has no resolution at the end of this first book. Usually, a series would have the other books involve other characters’ continuation, not just stop in the middle of the original characters’ story.<3
5By Jerrisseecupsss“This was a cruel twist of fate” — great book!Quick read!
5By Kailietuttl3This book was good I couldn’t stop reading it. Finished it in 2 days!Amazing
5By Mr TestMcTestWould read againWwhhhhaaatttt?!
5By 😄🤙🏼Amazing book. Is there a second???? I NEED to know what happens next!!!THE DISCRIMINATORY- “CLEAN” - NEVER RECOMMEND
1By haliwaruDNF! Writing your characters saying that they’re “clean” rather than say they have a negative sti/std test is absolutely ignorant! Your using that word means that YOU feel that people with an STI/ STD are “unclean”. Nice way to polarize, isolate, discriminate and dismiss an entire group of people (1 in 4) who are allowed to have sex and be sexual. EDUCATE YOURSELF! #sexshaming #sexeducati̇on #sexdiscrimination #ignorance #discriminationCute Love Story
4By KLewis95Very cute love story & easy read. Can’t wait to read the other books in this series. Definitely would recommend for anyone who is the “hopeless romantic.” I personally loved the characters & loved how the author wrote from both of their perspectives.Good but too short
3By dkf o621Cut the story too short without an ending.A page turner
5By fiercecheetahcI loved reading this book from the two characters perspectives. It helped with the imagery and really placing myself in the scenes. The ending has me on the edge.Surging tide.
1By DG WhitI won’t buy any more of her books it cost to much to keep buying the rest of the books. And you never know how many you will have to buy just to get to the end of the story.Good premise, horrible ending! Needs part II.
3By Mrs. Music-loverNo way! It can’t just end like this!Wow!!! Amazing Piece of Literature
5By Angelique FireheartI loved this book from start to finish. I could barely put it down. Memorable characters with an interesting storyline. Would love to read more about them.Disappointing
2By Awallace08It was an interesting read but it’s like the book just stops without an ending. Very disappointed it’s like you’re just let in the middle of a movie.Surging Tide
5By Pins4Love the book! Too bad it sort of ended I’ll read more! Thanks!Surging Tide
3By Grannie KaronI liked the story line but hate it when it ends mid story. That is why I did not rate it higher. It works better when you make the series stand alone reads. I am an avid reader and can easily read 2 books a day.Wonderful book!
5By AshantayyI really enjoyed all three series of this book. :)Insufferable
1By JK1332This book is so insufferable. The protagonists are whiny. Very unlikable. Writing is repetitive & the story moves at a snail’s pace. Gave up after the first 100 or so pages. Don’t waste your time or money.I t was a good read…
3By CleosanUntil the end. I didn’t care for the ending, which didn’t seem like an ending at all. Way too much left hanging and the next book didn’t seem to have any promise of tying up the first book. Left me disappointed and sad just like the two characters. Also, as a picky note, I miss the indents of paragraph writing style. It was hard to figure out when one person finished their sentence if it went to the end of the line and immediately went to the next paragraph without the indent.
