There are two books in this serial, Crown of Lies and Throne of Truth. The first book has a cliffhanger, but the second book is already available. Buy them both, now. I had to wait a week. I lived, but I was cranky about it. Pepper Winter's stories can sometimes be dark and kinky. This one is mild compared to some others and just as amazing. The plot is uber mysterious and oh so sexy. It's also sweet and angsty. The characters are multi dimensional and human. Super realistic and relatable. Elle works too hard and has since she was twelve. An actual poor little rich girl. Trapped in her CEO life trying to please everyone but herself. Penn saves Elle one night and disappears but they never stop thinking of each other. The sparks are magical and the suspense makes you itchy to skip ahead. Don't do it. Read every word. It's too juicy to skip parts. Love this author.

This book has me so on edge! Pepper winters is a master story teller. This story is crazy intense. I want ...no..I need to know what is going to happen! Amazing.

Crown of Lies by Pepper Winters is the first book in her brand new Truth and Lies duet. Christ this woman can write some fantastic stories! Elle is the star of this story and we get two phases in her life - her nineteenth birthday when everything just went horribly wrong except for the nameless boy that saved her life and set her soul on fire. And today, when she is fully in control of her families multi-generational department story dynasty and has the world at her fingertips but still longs for that one nameless boy. Spoilers and all that - this story is amazeballs, ends in a cliffhanger and the next book will be out February 28, 2017 (Throne of Truth). Enjoy!

Pepper never ceases to amaze me! Her writing is brilliant and completely consuming! I was hooked after reading the first couple of pages. I did not put it down until I had completed it. I loved it and can not wait for Throne of Truth to be released. Pre-ordered and patiently waiting for it's release!
