Description

The Second and Final Book in the Master of Trickery Duet!

“Must be brave, stubborn, and impervious to the tempers of loved ones.”
The first line hissed with history.

“Hours are endless, pay is non-existence, quitting absolutely forbidden.”
The second line ached with truth.

“Able to function on no sleep, refrain from running when times get hard, and be more than just a living canvas but a lover.”
The third thrummed with honesty.

“Other attributes required: forgiving, opinionated, and not afraid to tell me when I’m wrong. Must also enjoy being touched and kissed at any time of my choosing.”
The fourth glowed with promise.

“Call or email ‘YOUR HEART, HIS SOUL’ if interested in applying.”
The final made my future unfold.

The advert was so similar to one I should never have applied for.
A twist of fate that brought two destined people back together.
A job I would take in a heartbeat if the employer could offer such terms.
But I wasn’t free.
Neither was Gil.
Therefore, my interview could never happen.

Pepper has once again knocked it out of the park and wowed me! I’m seriously always amazed with her writing and her work and this one was no different! This book was seriously amazing and once i got started i was completely sucked in! There were moments where i was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happened next! This duet as a whole was simply amazing but book 2 definitely went to the next level! The suspense and all the words gahh I can’t even begin to say how much i loved every minute of it! Pepper has always been on of my one click authors and I’m simply amazed with her work! If you guys haven’t read this duet yet then you should! It’s sooo good ! This is a definite 5 ⭐️ read and i highly recommend it!

The Living Canvas concludes the duet in a rushed, yet somewhat satisfactory manner. Yes, the narrative did tie up plot points, but the execution was a bit lackluster.

Pepper gave us the perfect conclusion to Gil and Olin’s story. It was a messy, emotional story, but it was theirs. I loveddd their story and I’m extremely happy with the way it ended. Pepper’s writing is excellent and it shows in each and every book how well she can write a story. I am NEVER disappointed. Read this story but also read all the others as well.
