5By Ellen/OceansideCan’t Help Falling in Love. Katheryn Shay Evvie had tended to a premie that died, decided.to escape and to grieve for a couple of days with Brie. The added plus was the rival baseball teams playing and she was going. Wayward ball and Evvie ankle is hit. Guy comes hot and sweaty and picks her up. Speakers announcing for Mike to come back to the game. He felt bad for he was the one who hit the ball. Going later to check on her and her sister already came and picked her up. Noticing her purse, he grabbed it and left. He plays baseball and she buys season tickets, a good beginning for love. You will love the story, the love for Evvie and Mike, though from different life styles make it work. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.Evangelina
5By GrinandstampitI have fallen in love with this series. Each of the Gentileschi sisters are beautiful, kind and unique. Evvie is no different. She is a NICU nurse with a passion for baseball and finds attending games relieves her stress. But, she becomes the victim of an errant baseball. The pro ball player rushes to her aid. So begins a tense association. I love Kathryn Shay’s characters. Her stories are intriguing and I don’t want to put them down.
