Description
“Raw emotion, nonstop action, and relentless pacing makes Backlash another one-night read from Brad Thor.” —The Real Book Spy
#1 New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brad Thor is back with his most gripping thriller yet!
In ancient texts, there are stories about men who struck from the shadows, seemingly beyond the reach of death itself. These men were considered part angel, part demon. Their loyalty was to their families, their friends, and their kings. You crossed these men at your peril. And once crossed, there was no crossing back.
They were fearless; men of honor who have been known throughout history by different names: Spartan, Viking, Samurai.
Today, men like these still strike from the shadows. They are highly prized intelligence agents, military operatives, and assassins.
One man is all three.
Two days ago, that man was crossed—badly. Now, far from home and surrounded by his enemy, Scot Harvath must battle his way out.
In the most explosive novel Brad Thor has ever written, page after captivating page of action, intrigue, loyalty, and betrayal will keep you hooked until the very last sentence.

5By SkyysteveThis has been Thor’s best book on the series. I didn’t have to remember 100 names. The plot was simple into the point. The best of the series so far.
5By bandaide76The superb action writing was beautifully balanced with the proper amount of grief and self-recrimination. Believable and incredible at the same time.Slow but good
4By Aggie SueSlow start, it suddenly picked up about one third of the way through.Great thriller
5By Flyguy8650Excellent adventure, looking forward to the next adventure for Scot! Thanks Brad!!!Some neat action, a whole bunch of Meh, and more Troll ridiculousnous
2By PcogswellsMeh. I enjoy reading this series but every time I finish one I’m embarrassed that I do. I feel like more and more of an idiot that I wasted as much time as I did reading it. Ever since the character of Nicholas became Harvath’s own personal sidekick hacker troll, things just seem ever increasingly moronic.Great book

4By Nike AthleteThis is good. It completes the story from the previous novel. We finally get to see how Scot works in the COLD since he was a Member of SEAL Team Two. Kinda sad what happens. But Scot gets them in the end. I liked it and believe others will too.Well Done

1By KLGVCPlot holes, parts with poor grammar and wording. Something that happened 4-6 chapters previously was suddenly back. At the end some one went from a her to a he with no explanation. Only finished it because I was on a long flight with nothing better to doBacklash
5By RaiderviseThis was the best book I have read in a long time and hit home for me in many ways. For a retired Navy CPO who spent a lot of time with some of these units it was very factual! Well done! The best!
