Same plot. Different author.

A basic retread of books by numerous thriller authors about a cabal, which uses US government officials and international bad guys to create bio-weapons to reduce global population and establish a global nation state. Thor even throws in a retread from “Black List” where Harvath finds himself on a US government hit list AGAIN.
Scary how true this could be

I’ve read all of the Scot Harvath novels up to this one and was honestly scared at how ‘real’ this situation felt…especially after COVID. I just hope we have actual Scot Harvath’s amongst us to protect us.
Very Scary

This book was written in 2015. I read in 2023. Having lived through the Covid-19 Pandemic and seeing what Thor wrote about almost ten years is scary. This has happened and can happen. One of his best in the series. Some of the plot I wish he expounded on and not just give me a few sentences about advancing it. I wanted to hear more of the story.
Scary prophetic in 2021!

Creepy insightful and prophetic as we learn more about the current bureaucracy and it’s roll in the pandemic of 2020.

Really really liked that this one - kept me wondering how the virus came into play until the very end. It made it really interesting. I liked the way the story flowed even if it did take a bit to get going. It did feel a bit slow at the beginning and I felt it took them too long to discover there was a virus to begin with, but it ended pretty well. Would have liked to see Damien killed in a different way, seemed too simple for what he had committed but nonetheless finding him somewhat made up for that. Still felt a bit rushed towards the end as well. Helena’s story just dropped and I didn’t like that part being that she was a key player as well as Mordechai. Overall very well done, just think it should’ve been a bit longer given the characters involved!

I could not put this book down. I have been a Scot Horvath fan from my first encounter with the books in this series.

I have read a few of the Harvath books and enjoyed them. However this one was a slow story that was to political. Meaning to much time spent setting up the reasons behind the plot. The ending was rushed and haphazard. All in all I had a hard time finishing this book. To be honest my motivation was to see how he was going to finish it in the remaining 20 pages..
Great read!

As always, Brad Thor delivers a great read in The Code of Conduct. Scot Harvath and his group have been tested time and time again, coming through for the people they protect. The story line is chilling, to say the least. You won't regret getting this one. I couldn't put it down.

The world is a safer place for Freedom with Brad Thor on point. It is comforting to know that he also has my six!

I downloaded this to read while on vacation at the beach, which I'm glad I did, otherwise I would've missed work to keep on reading! It was hard to put down and I finished it in 2 days.
The descriptions and details put you right in the middle of the action. The suspense keeps you turning the page, and the plot is not only terrifying - it's believable. Those who have commented negatively about the book being a bunch of right-wing ranting need to get their heads out of the sand and start paying attention to what's really going on in the world. Although this book is a work of fiction, it's well researched...and it leaves the reader thankful that there are real people who fight for our safety and stand up to evil every day.

A very bad read. Plot is not realistic and the character development poor. Poorly written book.

This book is decent. I will recommend others to read this book. What bothered me a bit about this book is that the action took a while to start but other than that I enjoyed reading this book

The 5th Brad Thor novel I have read and they keep getting better. It took 3 rides on my stationary bike to finish. I can't wait for the next one!
