Description
In a world shrouded in shadows, where doubt is the only weapon, can one spy expose the truth? #1 New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brad Thor delivers his latest high-octane thriller.
A mysterious cargo plane, flanked by a squadron of Russia’s most lethal fighters, has just taken off from a remote airbase. Closely monitored by the United States, no one inside the Pentagon has any idea where it’s going or what it’s carrying.
A high-level Russian defector, a walking vault of secrets that could shatter the West, seeks asylum in Norway. Across the continent, in the heart of Paris, a lone French agent stumbles upon a conspiracy so explosive it could ignite a global firestorm.
As alarm bells ring in Washington, America’s top spy, Scot Harvath, is forced to choose between his conscience and his country.
You’ll be left breathless as Harvath is swept into a whirlwind of double agents, international intrigue, and heart-stopping chases.
Reviews
Good But Too Overfocused On Russia
4By AutoDidact1Thor’s story and characters are terrific, but he has a near-manic obsession with Russia, and gives it an outsized importance that is disconnected from reality.Another great book
5By grutfdKeep it up!!! Great exciting bookOk
3By danmatrasVery easy read, blot seems to get somewhat convoluted with too many storylines. Definitely not one of Mr. Thor’s best.Thank you Sir.
5By bowmanj0317I wish we could all behave as Scot’s team and friends, then maybe we could all be proud Americans. Here’s to unity, honesty, and respect!!!Fiction!!??
2By gv-Another author placing their political slant to a story… The storyline follows current geopolitical events, and that is not what I would like to see in fiction. What happened to the action? I’m a fan of the series, but lately, my favorite authors have written books with an obvious slant. I like fiction for a reason. Not for an attempt to manipulate. Sadly, So obvious. Another author to cross off…Predictable but fast
5By TxMnAzThe story was predictable, however it moved fast and was fluid. There was no reiteration of all the characters pasts. The story was well written and complete.Good reading!
5By Hdog797Action all the way!Riveting
5By Simple Man 3From start to finish…….with a perfect ending!!!!!Another Stellar edition
5By lovemath3.14Cant wait for the next oneExcellent
5By Topgun - MaverickExcellentShadow of Doubt
3By brookseaConfusingSimply could not put down
5By G'Dad12Very good story with great characters, high octane action from the start!Fast paced
5By mechengMr. Thor ‘s usual blend of action and intrigue. He starts several strings of, seemingly unrelated, events and expertly weaves them together with Mr. Harvath at the center. I get the feeling that Scott is retiring? Hope not?Pretty awful dialog
2By WaziwooAll the heroes are clean reverent and brave, except when they are torturing suspects and killing bad guys. Hundreds of bullets are fired in each of two gun battles in Paris, they all miss Scot , and any innocent bystander. Pretty much a fairy tale “thriller”Shadow of Doubt
5By Petepal1Another great book by Thor! I have read all his Scott Harvath series and have thoroughly enjoyed them all!Shadow Of Doubt
5By sixstringguitarmanrickAnother SPECTACULAR Scott Harvath adventure! I couldn’t be more impressed with the skill, detail, and heart with which you write, Brad Thor! I read a lot of books of your genre, and I consider you one of the absolute best! Please keep doing what you do so well. The Planet and the U.S.A. need more authors like you. Godspeed, Rick N.Best to do it
5By M-ToothThor never fails to bring it! I was hoping to find an Author that could keep my attention as well as The Great Tom Clancy years ago when a friend recommended Mr. Thor. Now all these years later Mr Thor is #1 in my opinionMost exciting
5By Texas WeenTypical Thor - excellent on almost every level. To say it’s a page turner is a given.Showdown od Doubt
5By crooked gavinAlways a Brad Thor on the edge of your seat thriller. Keep them coming Brad!
