Very easy read but too predictable and no surprises to add to the plot. Not one of the Scot Harvath books I would spend money on.
Big plot flaw

That a criminal with a large organization wouldn’t have the killed the cop (who helped Harvath) that crippled him years before is ludicrous.

Rough start almost made me put it down but I stayed with it. Jumped around a lot with a lot of material not necessary to the main story.
Pretty solid

I thought this was a pretty good entry. It certainly takes place in a country we don’t see often in thrillers and it brought something unique to the story. I still have issues with characters and their development or lack there of (every hero seems to like funk, is a patriot and thinks the same way). If we could just get some characters with differences it would make this series stand out.
Better than I expected.

Typical Brad book. It’s better than the reviews state. Yes, there is a lot of background, lot of talking about stuff that gets old. Not enough action in some places. Yes, we wrap it up in about 20 pages at the end. Last five pages explains the title. That was very odd. Interesting to see where “Scot” goes next.
Typically great

I’ve read them all. Hard to put down. Really good and enjoyed learning a little more about that part of the world.

A bit here and there before it finally comes to a conclusion…
Confusing at first, great ending

Many early characters. Many events going on simultaneously, but then settles down to a mission fulfilled.
Wow. Maybe the worst ever

I’ve read all of the Harvarth books. This is not one of the best. I don’t know if there is a requirement for a certain number of pages, but there was a lot of useless fluff in this book.

I’m used to better build up, character development and use of those characters once they’ve been developed from this author. This one was thin on all counts.
