Good book with plenty of excitment

Scott Harvath’s career has been ambushed by a ruthless self serving senator from Pennsylvania who wants to become the next vice president by taking down Harvath and the President in one fatal sweep. What ensues involves intrigue, deceit. Betrayal by American government officials and as well as members of the Saidi royal family. Another incredible read in this series!! My highest recommendation!!

That an assassin could enter a guarded room, kill someone and leave undetected while the “hero” (who didn’t bother to think that someone might be working late) has to gain entry by breaking down a wall is not plausible.

Great read. Shot through this one. Looking forward to continuing with the series.

Fast moving. Lots of action. Interesting characters

The best book so far by brad Thor. He should run for President

Loved the story, it never had me bored and always kept me interested as it was filled with tons of action and puzzles. The twist was pretty good as well, but I felt the story was longer than it needed to be. Took too long for them to figure out the problem when I felt it was pretty straightforward as to what needed to happen and where they needed to go. Did not need to be 600 pages, but the story was interesting and rock solid. Nice one Mr. Thor!

Can't say that I agree with Hollywood about certain party strengths. However, he does have the right to his opinions. And I support his right to voice them. After all he is from la la land. Thor is De Mill, and Childs second coming. A great read. Any of his novels. Do yourself a favor and read them in order.

Scot Harvath is a terrific character, who must have more than nine lives. He's used several in blowback! I can't put these books down! I have to keep reading and see if Scot makes it out of each dilemma or who he stomps the living daylights out of this time. Headed for the next book in the series. Thanks Brad Thor!!

Ignoring the ridiculous comments about Bush and Obama, Thor does a great job continuing a character and illustrating the difficulties of serving one's country. Can't wait for Black List to arrive, as well as the education of Hollywood in how long it takes to build credible intel...and then pulling the proverbial trigger after which taking credit instead for it all. Facts are facts right?

Pretty good action, run of the mill for this genre. However, this writer has it backwards as far as which party is stronger in the war on terrorism. While Bush slept thru his pre 9-11 intel briefings and refused a request for Rangers that might have gotten Bin Laden at Tora Bora, the current president has acted without hesitation and terminated Bin Laden as well as many other terrorist leaders.Perception is sometimes reality, but facts are always facts. Just sayin'.
