Description
Fatherhood blindsided me. There I am, working to get a rise out of my cranky little rule-following, fun-wrecking, soon-to-be ex-neighbor when my one-night stand from last season shows up… in labor. Next thing, I’m a single-dad begging for a crash course in caring for this tiny miracle from the neighbor who loves to hate me. Turns out, Nora raised half her siblings. She knows things. And I know my son needs her. Unfortunately, she’s not impressed by my NHL career, my legendary charm, or the rumors surrounding the size of my stick (all true btw). But I’m not trying to impress her. Not anymore. I can’t. I’m asking her to help me out, because my son deserves better than some player who hasn’t even had a chance to read the manual yet. Which means no matter how hot I find her spitfire mouth and those rules she doesn’t break… Nora is off-limits.

5By Donnafaye74This book was written beautifully! I love it, first book I read by this author. Gonna have to read the other books before & after this one, but this one will always be my favorite! Hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have. I recommend reading it! 💕🥰Love another HOT Hockey Story!
5By Shy477Very sexy and hot! Who knew Axel would turned out to be a smokin hot Dad to an adorable little infant boy!?? What made it hotter when Nora was the one woman who changed his life for the better by risking her own heart to fall in love with him over a short period of time. It was good to know the other mentions of his hockey buddies like Grady Wade and his fiancée, Harlow & Rux and Cammy were mentioned in a few chapters!!!! It had some funny and steamy moments between Axel and Nora!!!Dirty deal

4By Fine pumpkin 511I do so love the Slayers. Oh my goodness; Axel was so darn cute with his obsession to get it right with baby Otto. I loved this book. The steam level wasn’t as high but the story was soo good. It wasn’t just one dimensional. There were so many sides to the emotions that were going on. This series is fantastic and I hope it won’t be long for the next book. If you haven’t read other books by Mira give yourself a treat and go find some. I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. Until next time y’all happy reading.Another Great Mira Lyn Kelly Book
5By nora charles“Dirty Deal” includes several tropes that aren’t favorites of mine. I’m not a big fan of sports romances, nor do I really care for adding babies to the mix. But since it was written by a favorite author I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. The story was full of all the things that make Mira Lyn Kelly books must reads for me, including fully fleshed out characters, lots of chemistry between the hero and heroine and a story that grabbed me from the beginning and wouldn’t let go. Axel was so wonderful and the way he cared for both his son and Nora was so heartwarming. And Nora was a strong, determined woman who, it turned out, was the perfect fit for the new dad and little Otto. I fell for Axel and his new family, and I bet you will too. Highly recommended.Dirty Deal

5By RUMBLE TIME GAMES📖 ARC REVIEW 📖 Review: 5/5 ⭐️ Steam: 3/5 🔥 #dirtydeal is the next book in the #slayershockeyseries by Mira Lyn Kelly Axel likes to have fun and usually gets what he wants. So when he has a new neighbor across the hall he tries to befriend her, and flirt. But fast forward a couple months she wants nothing to do with him. All he wants is a reaction from her to know she still might be interested. Then all of his priorities change when a previous hookup comes back and changes things with the swing of a door. Nora has never lived for herself. She’s always done everything for everyone else in her family. Whether it is sending money back home or watching her siblings, it was never what her dreams were. Until she has an opportunity to be on her own and meeting new people. That only lasts so long until she doesn’t want to get pulled under by her neighbors charm. Then her job gets ripped out from under her. Feeling defeated she knows she has to go home. Until the one man she’s been avoiding is in desperate need of her help. Good thing she happens to be an expert on babies, big and small. I loved this book! It was good! I loved how as much as Axel drove Nora crazy, he was never disrespectful, he just wanted a reaction from her, to see if her feelings that were once there hung around. Nora didn’t let Axel get away with anything. She called him out and made him work. But they also grew close together and worked as a team raising Otto. I loved reading about their blossoming friendship until they realized they loved each other. Especially when Axel was willing to risk his full happiness for her. Ps. Loved that most of the other Slayer’s WAGs made an appearance. Totally worth the read!In love with the neighbor
5By hnobbsI seriously did not want to put this book down once I started reading it was that fantastic. I loved Nora and Axel from the moment Nora was complaining about Axel being a horrible neighbor. And Axel was smitten with Nora from the moment she moved in. When Axel is surprised with his new son and no idea what to do he asks Nora for help and she agrees to be his nanny but only temporarily. Nora has a plan for her life even if she isn’t sure what that is, she just knows that she wants to be able to choose what she wants. Of course once Nora moves in to help Axel with baby Otto she sees the real Axel and not the “player” she thought he was. Nora and Axel become real friends and they both want something more but know that Nora is leaving. I loved watching these two grow as friends and fight their attraction to each other and only fighting it because neither wanted to ruin the friendship they made and truly appreciated. Thank goodness they did stop fighting that attraction because dang are these two fabulous together. I loved how much Axel loved Nora and how he just wanted her to be happy even if that wasn’t with him and Otto. I love the Chicago Slayer series and each time I think I have a new book boyfriend the next book comes out and I have a new book boyfriend, lol.
