Description
Victor Morgan's entire life has been in the limelight. Groomed by his fierce mother as a piano prodigy, intent on using him to build a legacy for the Morgan name.
But legacies require the utmost in care. Any little disaster can cause a mountain of problems.
After a 17th birthday party ends in catastrophe, a fight with his parents sends Victor out into the world for the first time on his own. With his Academy team and Sang by his side, it's everything he's wanted for years. It's his time to get out from under his parents' oppressive control and finally be himself.
But Victor is a local celebrity in the Charleston community. His name and face have been everywhere. His every move is noticed. When his actions lead to the risk of a very public exposure of himself and his team, including thwarting Sang's chances at remaining a Ghost Bird, Victor realizes the life his mother built may jeopardize everything. The Morgan name may just be his downfall.
There may be no escape. The only way to save Sang and his team might be to give up what he really wants more than anything: to finally be the real Victor Morgan.

5By mooo1012This book has me captivated and locked in š and of course itās about my favorite boy out of the ghost bird series and he steals my heart even more in the book. The twist and turns are just getting bigger and bigger from here on out.Not the Same
2By Softballer12Iāve followed CL Stone since I found her back in college, but this book seems different. A lot of the characters do things that donāt seem to fit them and overall it felt like the story didnāt move that much in the overall theme of things.not really excited or in enjoyable
1By spran234wish that the author would put more info on about what has happened to the characters since we last heard themOh victor
1By bazchrI think any other character would have made this book better. To me heās the least compelling character. Iāve read through these books a few times and this one was disappointing. Iām excited for what to come! Hopefully some more Nathan and North stuff.Slightly disconnected
3By Puppymillie11Practically everything in Victorās POV was fantastic and exactly what I would expect for his character. Some things though, especially in Sangās POV, are just off. Like others, I was missing the cutesy nicknames and whatnot. Iām not going to harass the author though, I thought the book was worth the wait and Iām already checking often to see if thereās news about book 14!Felt like a different author
3By Rae-rae&&Iāve been reading this series for longer than I care to admit. Before this book I was frustrated by the timeline of the books but each new book was so great that I just ignored that it was taking so long to get them. Until this book. Suddenly Sang can shower, nicknames are gone, itās like this book was written by someone who wasnāt the author. Iām not sure whatās going on, but I think Iāll just be waiting for the series to be completed before buying anymore of these books. Super unfortunate as the series showed so much promise in the beginning.Disconnected
3By wbcmrobertsIt didnāt feel right! What happened to the nicknames and fun times? Not what I was hoping for. I felt it differed to much from the series.Somethingsā¦ Off
3By Letha2I loveee this book series but this one seemed a littleā¦ off. The characters weāre doing things that I wouldnāt expect. And not in a good way. I donāt know if it was because the time between the books was extremely long and the author lost her flow or what it was but it wasnāt bad but it wasnāt as amazing as the other booksawesome!
5By chicago_streetit was over too soon, canāt wait for the next bookLove this book
