Description

Forgiveness and Permission is the fourth book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.

Sang Sorenson's abusive mother is secure in a hospital, and her father has vanished to a new family of his own, leaving Sang and her sister to fend for themselves. Sang is hanging by a thread, and her only hope is a group of boys she feels she barely knows.

She's never really alone. The Academy team has stepped in, promising to protect and care for Sang. Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke and North take over, showing Sang they can be depended on for anything. But just because the parents are away, doesn't mean Sang's life has become any easier.

The newfound freedom will have a higher price than any of them had imagined.

Principal Hendricks now wants to use Sang to exploit Academy secrets. Mr. McCoy has his own dark plans for her. Enemies are closing in. Sang will need to learn to believe in the boys, and the boys will need to learn to trust her if they want to survive their rivals.

And each other.

I try to hide/ignore the newest book for as long as I can. I know I will read it in a day or two and then I go a little crazy without it right after. Because I know that I won't have another dose for a while. Ahhh, the suspense! I'm still waiting for the next audio book. The first one was great. She really found the greatest voices. Okay, now back to waiting...

I'm annoyed that I got into a 20 books series. Especially one as irritating as this. Never in my life has it taken me this long to read a book by choice. I was so miserably bored by book #4 that I forced myself to continue. The writer is at least talented enough to make me wonder who she'll choose. If she's chooses them all, I'll be so mad. Seriously? Nine guys sharing one girl? I mean, that sounds really messed up to me This book started off with a chapter that dragged on. The author really wanted us to know that "the boys" are fun, so she threw in a water gun scene among other silly situations. But she REALLY wanted to highlight the ways the boys are so dang uptight and over protective. So this book is literally a bunch of events where the boys are either fun or trying to keep her from getting hurt. And then lots of arguing. Lots.

But come on, a beautiful girl that is soooo naive that she doesn't know she's beautiful? Not possible, also she really is so dumb that she sees nothing wrong with being touchy freely with that many guys isn't a c$@k tease. Puh-lease! I love the guys though (not Kota so much though).

The book series started off good, but I bought and read books 1-4. The entire book series I felt was character building, no real depth to the books. I kept waiting for her to determine a love interest, (I was cheering for Kota), but to marry all nine men, really? Very disappointing.

Great series I am for sure addicted but wish I knew it was a 20 book series before I got hooked. Can't wait for book five to come out.

I really do think Kota and Sang would make a good couple not that the other guys are bad.

It's a good read but I don't like how one girl is interacting with 9 men. Also, I am upset this is a 20 part book set.

Oh. My. God. So I hadn't expected to love this series, but I do already! It's awesome in anyway, and I never get tired of the characters! And Sang shows how she is changing. But she's not just some damsel in distress. She's got some backbone now. As for the guys? More is revealed but the rest is a mystery. Luckily, the love field gets heated up:) the guys' feelings are more evident and have me begging for the next book!!!
