5By TESlaughterThe book was great. Love the twist!Has Lee Child lived in West Texas?!!LOL
5By Too much to buy! It’s amazing how well LC captures what life is like in that part of Texas. You would think he lived there! Definitely one of the true to form Jack Reacher novels…drifted into a situation, kicked butt, saved the day and moved on. Quintessential Reacher! Recommended read. Enjoy!Echo burning
4By wwc55Only gave me 47 pages of the book to read. Bought the whole book not 47 pagesIt’s HORRIBLE
1By Nike AthleteDon’t waste your time. Texas is NOT THIS HOT! Every other page is Heat and Humidity. Nope. Not true. Could not stand the book and about stopped.Echo burning
5By Rudolph9Another great one in the series. Lots of twists and turns. Highly recommended.Poorly researched rubbish
1By RRB78Lazy effort for an otherwise solid author. Clearly has never visited Texas and certainly not West Texas. Child relies on 50 year old tropes of rugged Texas and small town racism. Blah, blah, blah…what a clunker for the Reacher franchise.West Texas weather
3By Lec124Good story except I don’t believe west Texas desert stays hot all night long!Echo Burning
1By N42141Not very good. Rather disappointing. Only thing that made this a page turner was my rush to be done with it.Not my favorite Jack Reacher book . .
2By frenchy0674The plot seemed somewhat dull at first, but it never seemed to pick up speed. The entire book seemed to drag on forever, repeating itself. Many times I thought of just quitting it. The ending was too nice, and bundled up quickly, seemingly out of nowhere, everything fell into place . . when there was nothing there to begin with. Save your money.
