New York City. Two in the morning. A subway car heading uptown. Jack Reacher, plus five other passengers. Four are okay. The fifth isn’t. And if you think Reacher isn’t going to get involved . . . then you don’t know Jack.

Susan Mark, the fifth passenger, had a big secret, and her plain little life was being watched in Washington, and California, and Afghanistan—by dozens of people with one thing in common: They’re all lying to Reacher. A little. A lot. Or just enough to get him killed. A race has begun through the streets of Manhattan, a maze crowded with violent, skilled soldiers on all sides of a shadow war. For Jack Reacher, a man who trusts no one and likes it that way, the finish line comes when you finally get face-to-face and look your worst enemy in the eye.

BONUS: This edition contains an excerpt from Lee Child's A Wanted Man.

Reviews
- Good5By AtomicCougfun.
- Could not put this book down!5By L-TowneIt’s said that season 4 of Reacher on Prime Video is based on this book. Really looking forward to the release!
- But, why send the B-team…4By CareerMoves… when you want to procure high-value information? A ringing phone when you’re in attack mode tells the enemy where you are.
- Gone Tomorrow5By texasfan2011I am working my way thru the entire Jack Reacher series. Gone Tomorrow is one of the BEST!
- Excellent read!5By dwallace3Kept me up til I finished it. Rey good book!
- Same story different woman3By GpscubaIt seems in all of these Jack reacher stories. He beds the protagonist, even when it has no bearing on the story. Save a chapter leave that crap out.
- Worst So Far1By GriffchickI’ve read all the Reacher books so far, and thy e all been able to retain my attention despite the author’s sometimes excessive descriptions. This book was just terrible. The plot was poor, very little character development, and tons of boring descriptions of New York. Literally, descriptions of Reacher walking from block to block for pages on end. So boring. Painfully boring. Skip this one.
- Typical Lee CHILD5By Old CoquiTypical, as in excellent and entertaining! Ten stars!!!

- Nice read5By Ambiz5I enjoyed the read.
- Gone Tomorrow5By TJGibboGreat as are all of Lee’s stuff
- Gone Tomorrow5By brassfield0401In this book, Reacher really takes care of business. Brutal and efficient.
- Good but not great4By TigersJC86I think this story started off real slow and had little to no action until about halfway through. The end battle was one of the more ferocious you’ll read in any book and certainly gave the book the ending it deserved
- Amazing5By EnxymiousAny militant minded person will greatly appreciate Child’s ability to paint the scene with military-like attention to detail. Reacher is a military man and the details bring you completely in his mind and able to see the world from his point of view.
- Slow climb up but great ride down!5By Ratchet ratHard to put down once I got into it. Dragged on at the beginning then picked up momentum. Likable characters and interesting turns.
- Total package5By Ole DBOf all the Reacher series I’ve read, this one was the my favorite.
