Description

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed.

His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk.

A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

Not the best Reacher novel, by a long shot. Barely serviceable.

I’m a big fan of the Reacher series, but I’m very disappointed with this. Very Slow thru out….Where is Jack Reacher??Let Lee write alone for now on, if he wants to keep his FANS …..

It could have been a good book. This had the framework of an interesting story line. But this painted Reacher out to be unlike we are used to. Missing the usual details that make Reacher the character we all love. If this had been the book where Reacher was introduced, you would be hard-pressed to figure out why you should read more. He comes across weak, not particularly intelligent, and lacks the usual thoughtful and inquisitive nature of this character. All in all, a pretty bad version of a Reacher novel.

BORING…….Took forever to get to plot. Lee Childs must have been paid per words on paper. Reacher is a done series unless writer decides to make character exciting again. Worst Reacher book I ever read.

Absolutely, positively, unquestionably a new low in the Reacher series. But don’t worry, they’ll have a new one later this year—and it might be worse.

I loved the plot, the characters, the final outcome. The descriptive scenes were so well written that I didn’t have to skip any parts. Really enjoyed this author. Great content!

Worst Reacher so far. Adequate at best. Glad I didn’t pay full price when it first came out.
  • Not as good as anticipated.

I don’t think I’ve read a Jack Reacher book that wasn’t great. The character development is insanely good. Can’t wait to read the next one!!!

A good read but not great. Had no trouble putting it down for a day or two unlike most other Reachers.
  • Average at best

This father son author thing isn’t working. The story was contrived and full of holes. I’ve read every Reacher book. But I suspect this is my last.

This book was boring. You can tell the author has no semblance of what the Jack Reacher we have read about for years is made of. Not once did this book have the same feel. This author cannot describe the setting or action of books past. This will be the last new Jack Reacher book I purchase.

I’ve read everything that both Andrew and Lee have written. And my guess is that Andrew wrote most all of this. Jumbled up, and a disappointment. I did finish it though.

Well sadly I must agree with most of the reviews here. This is a terrible book. Not sure why Lees name is even on it. There are only a couple authors I really love and Lee Child’s was one of them. If this is the product that he is going to put his name on, then I’m done buying his books. It is clear he had a little to do with the writing of this novel. I’ve been waiting for this to come out for a long time and then I can’t even explain the disappointment. I am done reading Jack Reacher books.
