I think this might be my favorite book by this author. The plot is unique, the characters are so lovable, the bad guy is creepy and the love story is complicated. May, the little sister is well written. So many authors miss the mark writing children's characters. Not sure why, kids can be innocent and clever at the same time. The relationship between Rafe and May is worth the read alone. Felicity is well written as well. Holding her trust back because of her past makes the tensions more believable. Sigh......really recommend this book and this author. Kudos

A good story with an interesting plot that has many surprises. The characters, Rafe and Lis are developed and their lively actions and feelings ring true. May, Lis' little sister, is a fun character and adds to the story line. It was an entertains book with wonderful characters who grew more interesting with every page. The appearance of his Grace at the end was confusing, but it did tie the entire story together. A good book!

Entertaining for the most part, the ending seemed rushed and incomplete. I thought it had potential to be better. I enjoyed it till it got thrown together at the end. I thought it should have had a epilogue to finish it off.
