I love love Love this series. I couldn't wait to read this book and it did not disappoint. This is a friends to lovers troupe and it had all the great lines for that troupe: friends since childhood, like a member of the family, best friends with brother and a unrealistic view of romance and love. Lachlan and Rowena have known each other since birth and have lived life as a surrogate family. Rowena has loved Lachlan through a young girls eyes and never hid it from anyone. Lachlan loves his family and treats Rowena with kindness and respect but never felt more then brotherly love forwards Rowena. But when Rowena returns after she ran away to have her season in London and shows no romantic feelings towards Lachlan he finally sees her as a woman and what he's about to loose and goes to make Rowena his. Know he has to break down the walls Rowena has built to protect her heart and prove he's the highlander for her. I can't recommend this series enough. It's fabulous and must be read in order they are not stand a lone books. They have one of my favorite things about series. The family and past book characters are all throughout all the books.

A marvelous love story about two characters, Lachlan and Rowena, whom we met in the previous two books in this series. They are well developed so you love them and care about their love for each other. The plot is very interesting with many surprises that keep you turning those pages! I enjoyed this love story and was not disappointed with this latest sequel in the series. I am now ready to pre-order the next book coming out in October 2015 called "Some Like It Scot"! A terrific book to read!

Rowena has spent her entire life pining after her brother's best friend, Lachlan, who was also their neighbor and kinsman. Shortly after her 18th birthday, she runs away to London where she spends a very successful season, refining her speech and becoming more of a lady than a highland lass; and getting over a certain handsome viscount. She returns home for her eldest brother's wedding, where Lachlan declares that he has no intention of offering for her. She happily agrees as she has invited several of her London suitors to visit for the wedding; hoping to choose one of them for her husband. Lachlan soon discovers Winnie is no longer the lass with burrs in her hair, but a beautiful young lady. Determined to win her, he sets showing her that he sees her and is the perfect man for her. Filled with laughter, romance, and the beautiful highlands, this book is a fantastic read! It has intrigue that many of today's romances lack, and makes the reader excited to keep reading. The brogue of the characters really comes alive...you can almost hear them speaking to you. Ms. Enoch has many wonderful books, but I think this one is her best yet!
