Description

Avoiding bonfire duty is the only way a dragon shifter can keep the truth secret...she's flammable.

Jazz knows better than to let herself get too close to fire, even if she is a dragon shifter. When she gets assigned to fire duty for Bonfire Night, she knows she has to do something or her secret will be revealed.

Idris can't stop thinking about the dragon he's been paired with for the bonfire. The only problem is that he seems to have done something to make her want to avoid him, and he's determined to find out what.

Can he help Jazz stay safe from the flames?

A dragon shifter who is flammable what an interesting concept. Reading about Jazz and her issue is enlightening when she is paired with Idris for Bonfire Fire Duty. A cute story with an underlying romance. Definite worth reading in The Obscure Academy series. Although this story does occur after Krissi and her feline troubles, it is also a standalone. So reading any book out of order is not a concern. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

"...while I may be weird among dragons, there are other supernaturals in the world who aren't good at what they're supposed to be doing...." Jazz may be a talented cheer leader, but this Dragon doesn't want bonfire duty... she doesn't want her classmates to see what she isn't great at... until friends help her see we all have weaknesses that balance our strengths, and sometimes the most amazing adventures happen when we trust others to have our back. I picked up Bonfire Night For Flammable Dragons and chose to share my thoughts.

A flammable dragon sounds impossible yet that is Jazz’s issue. When she’s assigned fire duty for Bonfire Night she’s stuck trying to figure out if she should share her secret or risk getting burned. When she confides her problem to her partner Idris she finds him surprisingly understanding. The beginning to their romance. A sweet shifter romance with dragons. Short but satisfying with a hea. I enjoyed this story about a cheerleader and the nerd who are both dragons that meet while at school to light the bonfire for a holiday. It was sweet and funny as Jazz tries to get out of it due to a problem with flames. A clean story with nice characters that made me laugh.
