Description
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts continues the hauntingly spectacular Lost Bride Trilogy with book two, The Mirror.
When Sonya MacTavish inherits the huge Victorian mansion on the coast of Maine, she has no idea that the house is haunted. The footsteps she hears at night, the doors slamming, the music playing, are not figments of her imagination. In her dreams she sees glimpses of the past. In the present she finds portraits of brides. And when she has visions of an antique mirror, she is drawn to it, sensing it holds dark family secrets.
Then one night the mirror appears and Sonya glides through this looking glass, into the past—and sees a bride murdered on her wedding day, the circle of gold torn from her finger. It is a scene that will play out again and again—a centuries-old curse that must be broken—and a puzzle she must solve if there is any hope of breaking the curse.

5By wildnannaCan’t put downEnchanting
5By Ms. SGEJust finished reading this for the second time.Dissatisfied
2By tmlwest24Love her trilogy’s and really all of her books but I agree with the other reviews that this was just a long winded, repetitive filler. Should have done this in 2 books.Don’t waste your money
1By WaterMint7This book was written as on long run on sentence. A time filler while she tries to figure out where she wants to write the rings being found. The same thing over and over again. If you read the sample, you read the gist of the whole book. The ending is a cliff hanger with no substance to leave you thinking. Just wait and jump directly to number 3 and hope it is better. This was a waste of time, unfortunate and unexpected because Inheritance was good. The mirror
3By glass brokenAgain I am disappointed at the way we are strung a,one with no ending for these stories. This is not a tv series when you have to wait for the next season. This is a book that should have a closure. I loved you trilogy’s. The story ended and you look forward to the next book. They were not cliff hangers! So disappointed. The mirror
5By mgilbert10This is second book in the series, and it was as good as the first book! Can’t wait for the final book!Even better than the first
5By luna, titan, and skys momGreat sequel! I can’t wait until the third bookSo good!!

You are my favorite author , and at 62, I’ve read a lot! Can’t wait for the next book:)
5By Zombeebug3A lot of character background. Fun read. Not as good as the first, but good.
5By lmgsillsLoved the first, Inheritance. This one is good too, but I think has the same themes repeated. I wanted it to move a little faster. But it is good.Page turner!
5By KShorHad me from page one. Didn’t want to put it down! Great story…. Can’t wait for the last book in this trilogy!I could not put it down !!!
5By LestineFantastic!!!Obsessed with this series!
5By kaykaybean13I’ve read the first book Inheritance and it’s spectacular! It was enchanting and enthralling and the characters were executed beautifully. This addition to the series of three is also exceptionally written and I read it from start to finish in one sitting- couldn’t put it down! Now I wait, for the last one, the third of the series to be released I will be waiting with bated breath until June and counting down the months with anticipationThe Dead Speak Best
4By WinniesDadMJLThe story and characters are compelling enough to keep you glued despite sometimes predictable and banal dialogue. Often the dead are the best characters, and the scenes with them are certainly the most interesting. All in all a really solid read. The Mirror
5By mrs, wallrusI enjoyed reading this second book, but I would have really enjoyed more if I could have finished read this second book, but something went wrong on chapter three and I could not finish reading this book, it stopped dead at chapter three and I couldn’t get to turn the page, so I’m upset and would love to know what happens next. WHO fault was this? Please hurry!
5By Klw41652Oh Nora! I’m so invested…please hurry with the next one! I can’t wait to know what happens! Thanks for all the adventure you bring to my life!Boring
2By wine76I usually love Nora’s books but this was filled with tedious descriptions of her work projects, daily schedules, what they were cooking then only two pages about the witch. The first book was great. This dragged on with no answers. I skipped through most of it quickly.Relax and enjoy.
5By ledossAnd ghosties, bump in the nights, and the witch abound. This second book is background and filler to this trilogy and I enjoyed every second, as we continue on the quest. Cleo and Owen along with some of the brides get a glimpse into their own stories and the manor and its history “rock on”. Love the Clover and music inserts, Jack and Yoda make a sweet aside. Relax and enjoy, if you have not read the first book, grab it now because the next book will be the crescendo. The Mirror
2By conamcNormally love Nora Robert’s but this series moves too slowly and is highly repetitive. How often do you need to repeat the same incidents? Book would be better if it was half as long.
