Stars of Fortune
By Nora Roberts
FIRST IN THE GUARDIANS TRILOGY
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a trilogy about three couples who join together to create their own family and solve an ancient mystery through the powers of timeless love…
Sasha Riggs is a reclusive artist, haunted by dreams and nightmares that she turns into extraordinary paintings. Her visions lead her to the Greek island of Corfu, where five others have been lured to seek the legendary fire star, part of an ancient prophecy. Sasha recognizes them, because she has drawn them: a magician, an archaeologist, a wanderer, a fighter, a loner. All on a quest. All with secrets.
Sasha is the one who holds them together—the seer. And in the magician, Bran Killian, she sees a man of immense power and compassion. As Sasha struggles with her rare ability, Bran is there to support her, challenge her, and believe in her.
When a dark threat looms, the six must use their combined powers—including trust, unity, and love—to find the fire star and keep the world on course.

Enjoyed4By SistarlupsIt is similar to some of her other trilogies but I enjoyed the new twist and turns. Some of the characters you didn't have to guess how they would evolve but others were a surprise. Overall, a nice read. I'll purchase the rest in the trilogy.
Really enjoyed this book!5By gdlndThis is actually the second time I read this book, since the second book in the series is coming out in June. I read it first last year right after it was published. I love Nora Robert's books and also JD Robb's books too!
Recycling old storylines1By Paiges2turnI want my money back! She's just copying her earlier trilogies at this point. At least she didn't use too much of that irritating choppy dialogue in this book. But I could have gone back and re-read the sisters or circles trilogy and saved my hard-earned pennies. I'd rather have her early career quality than the quantity of rehash she's pushing out now. Pure greed and I won't fall for it again.
Stars of fortune5By Sheba7772005Another winner from Nora Roberts! I need the next book, STAT!
Stars of Fortune5By Fangirl88Love it! The book was a great read if you love the supernatural and Nora's character humor you will love this. Yes it keep and mirrors the key trilogy but this is unique and I love how the story develops definitely waiting for the next book!
Fantastic5By ABagel3This book is the best book that I have read of hers. It drew me in and I could NOT put it down for the life of me. I'm excited to read the next in the series and I'm waiting impatiently.
Not Nora Roberts quality2By Dlsb57I love Nora Roberts. I have read nearly every book she has written and always look forward to a new book. However, this one was disappointing. Right from the start I felt like she was rushing through it. No character development, no real storyline development. Everything moved too quickly. Not one of her better efforts.
NR has jumped the shark2By Jenjock1I've read everything Nora Roberts has ever written, many more than once. My daughter may or may not even be named after her. I've seen this coming for a while, her last few novels have all just been a little off, but this one takes the cake. Zero character development, disbelief is apparently supposed to be suspended in the first five pages, and things just don't always make sense. I personally believe she has someone writing for her at this point, her dialogue and character relationships have always been her strong suit and they are nonexistent in this novel.
Loved it!5By Christy74441I really enjoyed this book! I don't know if I can wait 7 months for the next installment.
like a remake1By jellies29456disappointed in this series, ive read all of her books and this series is shaping up like a rip off of her circle trilogy. if you havent read those yet then this would be a good book for you, if youre a fan i suggest skip this series and just dig up your old copy of the circle trilogy, youd have so much more fun
