4By KatiekozI enjoyed Mine much more than Real. I wasn't expecting the storyline to be what it was, but I liked it. Brooke and Remy still have many obstacles to overcome in Mine, and it leads to some hard times for them. There were a few times where I felt frustrated with Brooke because she thought her problems and her thoughts on issues between her and Remy were dumb; She felt like she shouldn't be feeling that way when I thought it was completely normal and she should be feeling that way. She thought she was overreacting and I completely disagreed. Remy struggles with his issues from Real and it's sometimes hard to read about, but that's everyday life for some people. It gives you a bit more perspective reading about what he has to go through and how it affects those around him. However, his possessiveness did get annoying at times. Brooke and Remy aren't your average couple, but they can be really cute together and they make each other better.Loved It!

Picking up where we left off in the first book, Remy and Brooke are back together again and all is right with the world.......right? Wrong. Katy Evans isn't going to let her readers off that easy. Remy and Brooke have some great highs but man do they get some pretty tough lows in this book and it could not have made me happier as a fan of this authors books. It gave me the chance to fall in love and root for this couple all over again! With the return of Scorpion and his knowledge that Brooke is Remy's weakness, it makes for a juicy storyline. Add your favorite side characters and what you have is yet another must read in the series. I would highly recommend reading Mine. It is the perfect HEA for Remy and Brooke.Remy! Remy! Remy!

The book feels like a repeat of Real, literally following the same story line (oh no the sister is with his fighting rival and we must save her). The views on mental illness in this book do a serious disservice to anyone suffering with bipolar disorder. While I do not doubt the episodes are my experiences could happen it is not usually the case, often experiencing more subdued traits and with the ability to remember what has happened. If you are looking for any type of realism find another book. If you are looking for a strong female character, get another book. This series seems to believe infatuation is the only way to love and depicts an unhealthy relationship of codependency.Second book even better!!

1By Kris3542I hated having to read the author's views on vaccines and psych meds.She is clueless. Autism is NOT caused by vaccines and that has been well researched. Children not getting vaccinated has caused a significant increase in dangerous illness, killing immune compromised people and young babies. Also vegetables are not a cure all for mental illness, people are not weak if they need "chemicals" to manage painful, life altering illnesses. They are STRONG for seeking he help they need to live a happy life.Let's get Real

I read it in 3 days .It took me awhile to get into this story.It did leave off where it should have.I just felt like it had a lot of repeats in it.There was the damaged Remy,hot sexy we get that. I just wanted more from the book besides what we already knew. Maybe more of a back story on his parents let him deal with what they did to him more. There was too much sex I think. It just felt like a sex repeat & fighting repeat. I think the author should have only made one book. Also don't let my review sway you to not read this book give a go!Awesome story
