Description

"Instincts are what keep us safe from fate. Ignoring them can change your life forever."

Fame and fortune arrived overnight and after months on the road with her singing tour, all Estelle craves is peace. Tired and ready for paradise, she travels to Fiji to recuperate.

Stubborn and surly, Galloway is avoided by most--which is exactly the way he likes it. However, he's done spending his life in regret and hopes to find redemption in the tropical wilderness.

Together, they board the flight that changes their fate forever. Crash landing on a deserted island, they not only have to figure out how to survive with no skills and daily dangers--learning how to fish, find water, and build shelter--but also inherit two children who look to them to keep them alive.

However, staying alive might be the least of Galloway and Estelle's problems. As days creep to months and rescue doesn't find them, their desire for each other ignites.

They started as strangers.

They grew to be friends.

They fought the desire to be lovers.

Lust can be the most beautiful thing. Love the most rewarding. But not on an island where life hangs by a thread and giving into temptation can kill you.

Can they survive being forgotten or will love be their ultimate undoing?

I've read many books by Pepper Winters but this book was by far one of her best. I couldn't put it down! I found myself crying in some chapters abs smiling in others. The ending was superb. A beautifully written romance.

Wow I don't even know where to start!! This book was powerful, magical, strong yet feminine. I caught myself both laughing out loud and crying with the characters. I had to smoother smiles on my face as not to seem like a crazy person to those around me. I could see myself in the main character E.E. and found myself swooning for Galloway. I quickly became invested in the lives of Co, Pippi and Coco and I cried hard when their family was torn apart. This is one of those books that you enjoy so much is plays like a movie in your head. You also don't even realize how powerful it is or how it's changed you, until your done. I'm already a huge fan of the author and this just adds to my love for her writing. 5 stars all the way!

First book I've read by Pepper and I was blown away! I've never read a book that made me want to cry, want to scream and dance while reading! In my next life, I want a more simplistic lifestyle similar to Estelle's and G's the second time around. Thank you Pepper for your imagination, inspiration and journey into the lives of two loving characters. I plan on reading more of Peppers books!

OMG what an amazing story this is. I don't have right words to describe to you how beautiful, heart wrenching, emotional this book is. It is a story about four crash survivors on the deserted island. It is also a love story but main focus is survival. These four people went through anything you could possible imagine that could happened on the deserted island and then some more. Hurt, hunger, healing, temptation, death, basic survival skills, but also happy moments, love, bonding and many, many more emotions and things that happened to them. Book really makes you think about life and what is the most important thing to you, what is most important for survival in any situation. What can you change, what can you do if you have a choice, can you change your life or should you just "go with it"? It really puts life and everyday things in very different perspective. I love this book. It is wonderfully written. Pepper nailed it, you can feel that she put her heart and soul into this book and that makes it that much more perfect. I honestly don't know what else to talk you because words can't describe how great this book is. So just go ahead, one click it, relax, dive in and be ready to rethink your life after you finished. More than anything, enjoy it! Because you won't be able to put it down.

Main characters: Galloway Oak, Estelle Evermore, Pippa and Connor Evermore Estelle is a professional songwriter and singer. Galloway is a builder. POV: alternating from Estelle and Galloway Included is inner dialogue from both characters. Included are messages written from Estelle's POV before each of her chapters. Standalone book A few quotes shared: Sheā€™s your beginning. Your end. Your salvation. There was no such thing as messages or premonition. Our path exists in unseen messages. I couldnā€™t ignore it anymore. The messages. The signs. I shouldā€™ve listened. The story's premise as well as title is based on unseen messages that are ignored in life or not so ignored leading to a new path or a different path that ultimately might be the same fate or not. Are you tired of reading the same predictable plot lines over and over again? Want to read something different, something unexpected? Let Pepper Winters take you on a journey that is unpredictable and quite ingenious. Prepare yourself and allot yourself quality time to read. You will want and need ample time to finish this story. At no point will you deem a good time to bookmark for a return visit later. It will taunt you and call to you throughout the day and night tormenting your mind until you unclick that bookmark once more. A note from Pepper Winters: The following novel is a blend of truth and fable. The messages truly happened; the outcome & subsequent fate did not. This story was inspired by my flight home in 2015. Each thing that happened, happened to me. Each issue and fear was my own experience, right down to the clothes Estelle wears, to what she shoves in her pocket. Thatā€™s complete truth. What happened afterward... Iā€™ll let the characters tell you their tale. It's a story woven in fate. Fate works in mysterious ways always testing ones ability to adapt. A story woven in messages. My favorite part about a Pepper Winters story is how a man is complete with a strong, capable, and independent woman by his side. Once I began reading the unknown and expected story I was blown away and captivated by this journey. At times I felt a certain familiarity with the story and then other times I was transported into an enlightened tale that gave me everything I needed and everything I was not aware I needed. It's a lengthy story but a fulfilling story that I'm proud to have had the privilege of reading.

First, YOU NEED THIS BOOK!!!! Period. Don't hesitate. Just one-click it and dive in. Second, this book blew me away. Completely. Pepper snatched my heart from my chest, played with it, stomped on it a bit, shoved it back in and nursed it back to health. In other words, I felt it. Every. Single. Word. It was not the typical dark read from Pepper. It was a beautiful, moving, angst-filled, powerful roller coaster of a ride. Pepper created soul-mates, bound together through every cursed and hopeful situation imaginable. At one point, I was a blubbering, crying mess because I was deeply invested in the characters of Estelle and Galloway. My couch was littered with tissues and my eyes were blurry as I raced to the end of their story. And it was worth every single tear I shed for them. Having said that, it WAS a typical Pepper Winters book. The story was full of vivid emotions, slowly revealed secrets, passionate physical attractions, loving intimacy, dark foreboding, uncontrollable destiny and an all-consuming love between a man and woman. It was a phenomenal love story that stayed with me long after I finished the book. Unseen Messages now sits on my Ultimate Book List reserved only for books that evoke the deepest of feelings. If I could give it SIX STARS, I would! (This ARC was kindly provided in return for an honest review.)
