Description

Unlike my conniving brother, I have no designs on the throne. Let better men rule.

I’m happy to let better men rule—I’ve never pretended to be a good man. I've been in exile, but no longer. I'm finally going home. This time, no one can keep me away. Not Ariel, the woman I left behind. Not the killer on my tail. Hell, not even my cousin--the king--can stop me.

But I do have a score to settle. Everything’s going just fine until Ariel is assigned to my protection detail. She will ruin everything, and probably enjoy doing it. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

But just one look at her and I know it's not over between us.

All I have to do is convince her I never forgot her.

And try to stay alive.

(This is Book 1 in the Prince duet. Ariel and Tristan’s story continues in To Love a Prince.)

Fake engagement. Check. In love with another woman. Check. Threat of being killed. Check. What more could a prince want? And yet Prince Tristan wants it all. This is the story we have all been waiting for. So far, it is full of secrets and intrigue. Yes, Tristan took care of Max. But what about all of the other secrets he's keeping. Will Ariel be able to figure out who wants to hurt the prince before they succeed? Will Tristan and Ariel be able to overcome the darkness of their pasts? Will what happened a decade ago continue to haunt both of them? Or will this be a fresh start for them? We will have to wait until the next book to find out.

This is finally Ariel’s story. It was more Tristan’s though. Tristan is the cousin or Sebastian and the brother of crazy Ashton. Though they were not part of the conspiracy, the whole family was sent away from Winston Isles with very little protection. In walks Royal Elite who have now been named King’s Knights (how cool is that?). There are a few problems with this situation. Tristan and Ariel met 10 years ago and are still very much in love despite the hiatus and Tristan has a fiancé, Ella. There are some scary scenes. Tristan’s life is definitely in danger and there is a plot afoot that could be thrown of the rails if Royal Elite gets involved. This book is not as heart gripping and thrilling as some of the others have been in the series but I think that is what readers needed. How Nana anticipates readers needs is beyond me but she does it well. I have a feeling that the continuation of this series will be full of Ariel and Penny saving the day but we had to get the logistics out of the way. This book is gives readers insight on Ariel and her interactions with the Team. You see how much everyone loves her and wants to protect her. This book makes you love Team Winston Isles even more because of the intense love they have for Ariel. I adored this book and as always did not want it to end.

An exiled prince…a security tech goddess and a past romance that threatens to pull them under while they are on the hunt of another potential royal threat. Readers get another glimpse into the royal family of the Winston Isles as we await part 2 of the saga which is sure to be thrilling as the other books in the royals series.

Return of the Prince by Nana Malone is the first book in her most revent duet, The Prince Duet. Nana has rapidly become a must-read author for me and I just can't get enough of these royals. And, in this duet, we finally, FINALLY, get Ariel's story! Ariel put love in her rearview mirror ten years ago when she fell for a prince and got her heart crushed. Of course, she didn't have all the facts. But that did not matter - gone is gone - left behind is left behind. Now she has her Royal Elite security agency to keep her time filled and her heart happy. Except now Tristan is back in the picture, back on the Winston Isles, and back in her life, just not in a way that makes either of them happy. With a cliffhanger ending, this dual POV is hot, emotional, angsty, and a little bit dangerous. I am sooo excited for the next book, To Love a Prince! Enjoy!

Holy Batman! I have been waiting for Ariel and Prince Tristan’s story and it was so worth the wait. It lived up to all my expectations. Ariel is my kind of bada$$ woman but she has a marshmallow inside of her that she constantly fights not to let out and as strange as that sound it makes me love her even more. Out of all of the royal characters from all of the books I have always been drawn to Ariel. Tristian is hiding something really horrific that happened to him as a child. I’m not sure what it is but I really home that it’s not what I think it is. He’s got need Ariel to love him even more and trust her love for him. I’m so over the top excited for the conclusion. Nana you are a bada$$ storyteller.

From the beginning Ariel and Penny have been my two favorite characters. So I was very excited to find out that Ariel was finally getting her story told. She’s such an awesome heroine, intelligent, strong, confident and courageous. After a rough year Ariel has been determined to make a name for herself. She’s got her company up and running with a few successful jobs under her belt. Add to that the amazing team she was able to assemble, life is good. That is until fate decides to throw her a curve ball. She’s tasked with protecting the exiled Prince Triston. The only thing harder than protecting him from the enemy will be protecting Triston from herself. I loved this book. It ends in a fantastic cliffhanger. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next segment of Ariel’s story. I have a feeling it’s going to be an incredible adventure.

I was so happy to hear Ariel was finally getting her story told. She’s like the best friend everyone wishes they had. I love that Nana Malone writes her female characters with sass and fierceness and independence, but also gives them a vulnerable side, too. There was a lot of angst and a whole rollercoaster ride of emotions in this story. Tristan and Ariel are alike in so many ways though they couldn’t have come from any more different backgrounds. Both have never really felt like they belonged and both thought the other abandoned them a decade ago. I’m not usually a fan of cliffhangers, but Ms. Malone does it so well. I look forward to reading the 2nd book in the duet where I suspect we will see more badassery on the hunt to bringing justice to whomever was dumb enough to keep trying to kill Ariel’s man.
