The Benefactor

I can’t even explain how much I love Ben and Livvy and the entire London Lords. This bridge book has a heist, some more romance, more than one mystery, and some super sexy times! I cannot wait for the conclusion to their story, but I’m definitely loving the journey that’s taking them there!

In media res. This is book two in the series and you have to read book one first, because we pick up right where we were left hanging. No spoilers! There’s action (lots of it). Steam and plenty of head butting going on between Ben and Livy. They have to, they both have strong personalities. There may be a heist. And the waiting for book three in store for you. Recommend.

This book kept me on edge. Who wants to hurt Livy? Can Bennett (Ben) keep her safe? What’s going on with the Elite? There’s also a heist they are attempting too. I thought we’d get the conclusion but it does end in a cliffhanger. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy. Can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Great continuation of Ben and Livy’s story. The opening scene really draws the reader right in with it’s edge of your seat heart pounding action. At times Livy and Ben were a little frustrating. They are so stubborn and they really need to work on their communication but that doesn’t make me love them any less. The tension between the two was definitely palpable and kind comical at times. I loved that so many of the characters that I adore made appearances and took part in Livy and Ben’s mission. Their journey takes many turns and things are starting to come together. I have a few hypotheses about what might happen in the next segment of their tale and can’t wait to find out if any are correct. Definitely looking forward to the release of For Her Benefit.

The Benefactor by Nana Malone is the second book in her steamy suspense-filled See No Evil trilogy. Picking up where book one, Big Ben, left off on a crazy cliffhanger, this book immediately puts you in the danger seat. Liv is running for her life, Ben is unaware she is in danger, and you are on tenterhooks in the first couple of pages. The book is told in dual POV and not every chapter is as high tension as the first (or last) but the slow-build of the conspiracy of The Elite and the story of Liv's mother's that she is finishing writing all lead to one dangerous place (I assume) and we will learn just where that is in book three, For Her Benefit. Nana Malone has fast become a lust-read author for me. Her writing style and delivery is one that I mesh with well. Loved this, even with the wicked cliffhanger that takes us into the final book. Enjoy!

OMG Ben and Livy just get better and better with each installment!! Ben and Livy are Perfection...Perfectly Sexy Perfection!! And I loved every moment of their escapades. The Benefactor despite not being the conclusion to Ben and Livy's story is a complete and total 5-star read. Wow! The suspense and mystery and love affair surrounding these Ben and Livy continues to draw you in and continues to hold you with captivated breathe throughout. I honestly did not want this one to end. The twists and turns this story takes will leave you on a journey that you never expected, and you will still be spinning when the book comes to a close. Ben and the other Lords of London continue to seek vengeance for their friend Toby against the Elite, and to do so they have had to bring in help to help them hatch and carryout the perfect plan. Yup, that means some of our favorite characters from the other connected stories make their appearance. While Ben is plotting his revenge against the Elite, he also continues to try to get Livy to see that she is HIS and that he will do anything to protect her, but Livy, who has had enough of men lying to her, keeping things from her, is not hearing any of it, and is all about gaining her complete and total in independence. Ben and Livy despite Ben being super rich and powerful, are so perfectly matched in all respects. All you can do as the reader is cheer for them even when you are yelling at them "Can't you see that you two belong together forever??!!" The Benefactor, which is book 2 in the See No Evil Trilogy, must be read after Big Ben, and will leave you begging for more...literally. My mouth is still hanging open after that cliffhanger of an ending that I did not see coming AT ALL!! I NEED FOR HER BENEFIT RIGHT NOW!! With The Benefactor, Nana Malone has delivered yet another engrossing roller coaster of a ride romantic mystery.

Nana Malone, I love you, but right now I hate you. I kept trying to go to the next page on my kindle, but there was no next page. You are a cliffhanger queen. And you wear your crown well. This book is chock full of danger, mystery, fun and dangerous escapades and let's not forget the sexcapades. A definite must read, but if you don't like cliffhangers, wait until the trilogy is complete to binge read them.

Oh Nana Malone, you are Evil!!! Just when you think the ride couldn’t get any wilder, the mind of Nana Malone reminds you that it can. Part 2 of the trilogy picks up right where Nana left us. Without giving away too much, Livy does her thing and her and Ben attempt to move on. While The Benefactor is in the same universe as Nana’s Royals series, it isn’t a royals book. However, we are treated to a good majority of Team Winston Isles joining in the mischief. The gang’s goal is still the same: take down the Elite. The cost however keeps growing and the Team are pushed in to a corner. Oh and there is still the fact that it is unknown if the attacks on Livy are related to what they are doing. The Team proceeds with the plans and goals under the cover of enough protection to protect an city of people. Except the Team let their guards down. What impact will that have on everyone? Well thanks to Ms. Malone, you have to wait as see! While I hate cliffhangers, I must admit, Nana Malone always makes them worth it! The world right now is crazy, The Benefactor is definitely a great escape!!!

So first of all, the ending is killer! This is the second book of a trilogy and Nana is great at cliffhangers! Nana jumps right in with Livy at the start of this book and gets your heart racing. While Ben continues to go back and forth with how best to protect Livy throughout the book, you see Livy continue to grow and start to find herself again. Towards the end of the book I felt like there was so much jumping around with the story that I was confused a bit on parts of the storyline. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved seeing Livy empower herself more throughout the book. Ben ain’t bad either....hahaha.

I’m loving this trilogy! I have fallen big for Ben & Olivia! More intrigue. More plotting. So much heat!!! Highly recommend! I’d say more but... no spoilers!. Cannot wait for book 3
