Description

I’m the black hearted prince of Eton College, and she’s the unapologetic fireball who could eviscerate me...
My best mate’s sister.
My secret weakness.

Don’t look.
Don’t covet.
And sure as hell don’t touch.
I’ve never been a rule breaker... until Emma Varma.

I've been intrigued with Bridge Edgerton since the he was first introduced in the See No Evil trilogy by author Nana Malone. It's been a long wait for Bridge's turn, but well worth it, and BRIDGE OF LOVE is the perfect prequel to set up the rest of the books in the Speak No Evil trilogy. This novella gives some much appreciated backstory as to what makes Bridge tick, and the history between him and Emma Varma, younger sister of Toby Varma, one of East's best friends. It has never been a question as to whether or not I would be reading East's story, but with BRIDGE OF LOVE, Nana has done a great job of making sure that I'm already all in. January 18th and LONDON BRIDGE (Speak No Evil, Book 1) can't get here soon enough! ❤️

In where we meet Bridge, a bit of a bad boy in training and Emma, his buddy’s younger sister and his temptation. He’s at Eton, so high school. There’s more to come…

So this is the first backstory we have seen for any of the London Lords. It is a very quick read and after reading it you will want Bridge's book. Like NOW!!! There is so much that needs to be revealed and it is just waiting for the right time.
  • An intriguing prequel

Oh my goodness! I have waited so long for Bridge and Emma’s back story as to why they are so antagonistic towards each other. Plus wanting to get a glimpse of why adult Emma’s personality was so impulsive. This novella should me that Young Emma was just as impulsive. I loved this peak into their world. Oh I can’t forget a insight into how Tobey got targeted by the Elite. I can’t wait for London Bridge! I want more more Bridge and Emma😍 I’m recommending all of the London Lords books because they are extremely addictive and gloriously fun. Until next time y’all happy reading.

I was already dying for the Bridge Emma tale and now a prequel to take it to a whole new level of want. I cannot wait. The girl that’s so off limits, Toby’s little sister Emma. The guy that she thinks hates her, one of her brothers best mates… Bridge. Fireworks and sparks fly whenever they are near!! Cannot wait for book. Dip into this prequel for a taste.

Nana Malone’s “Bridge of Love” novella further raises the anticipation for book one of the See No Evil series. Emma Varma and Bridge Edgerton were mentioned in the previous books of the London Lords world. In this prequel, we get a glimpse of them as teenagers and fighting the attraction between two who are as compatible as oil and water. I enjoyed reading about Emma and Bridge, full stop. There is desire and withholding between the two and it was satisfying when they gave in for a bit. I am so happy that not only did we get mentions of Toby Varma in this novella, but also his point of view. This adds to the depth of how heartbreaking the situation is for his family and best mates, and we yearn for justice even more in the coming trilogy. This early years story of a long-time-coming forbidden romance should not be missed! Thank you to Valentine PR and Nana Malone for the ARC in exchange for a honest review.
