Who knows how many more books to pay for before reaching the happy ending! I would have given it 5 stars as it kept you intrigued and totally into the story although it ended without an end. It left me totally unsatisfied. I wish the author had cared for me as his reader as much as using this unfinished story to simply plant a hook and try to reel me in to buy more books.Intriguing Introduction (4.5⭐️)

Forget everything I have ever told you Lachlan King IS EVERYTHING TO ME! He’s my Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Henry Cavill, and more rolled up into a neat little package of book boyfriend and I must have him! Shout out to my female lead Saffron. I can’t wait to see where the story goes cause I was ready to tussle after that cliffhanger ending. Next up in the King! I am ready to lose myself in this new world of intrigue and you will as well. Saffron and Lachlan are combustible together!!!! I can’t wait to dive deeper in to both of their stories! With this prequel/novella, the stage as been set for intrigue and action! I didn’t realize that I needed some action sequences with my romance until Nana Malone and her wild imagination!! Who is Saffron? Is there a connection between her occupation and Lachlan? Who are the Rouges? So many questions! I am impatiently waiting for The King!Can’t wait for more!
