Reviews
Nope
1By reader that wants the storyAwful. Hard to follow. Do not buy.Waste of time
2By Cameo Rocks!Terribly boring and I don’t understand why this was written. Give us the final book. Skip this all together. So crazy that someone thought this book was needed.Horrible
1By sheislovedIt’s just a matter of the author to make money , that is not a book continuation of the story .Good to have
4By Anny RooI like this book as a reference. Although it does seem to rehash the story, but with different characters perspective. Willa’s short stories are treaded through & very steamy. Overall it’s a good resource book.Who cares about Willa
1By Jenobles1What’s the point someone tell me?Read in different order
5By bdmccrawI actually enjoyed this. However I think it was the way I read the series that made this truly interesting. I was bummed that this was book 6, but I paused and then read flesh and fire, the times before poppy and cas. The times of sera and nyktos. When I finished flesh and fire, I went back to Willa’s point of view because I was interested in knowledge of the in-between times, after learning about sotoria! Try reading in this order p, I think it’ll change you mind (:Disappointed
3By NikkigilliNot what I was expecting. Really wanted to read what happened next.1,000 page cliff notes.
1By 37194719Not worth the 8 dollars.don’t waste your money this is just a review of characters i want my money back
1By B91436very disappointedCliff notes in disguise
1By tmack_txJust ugh. Read the reviews, or listen to a 10 minute podcast to refresh your memory on the series, but for Gods sake, save your money in these cliff notes!BORING
2By maryyycatThis is exactly as others have said and appears to be nothing more than a cash grab. While it’s nice to have a detailed synopsis of each character, it gets extremely repetitive and boring reading the same story from multiple POVs. I honestly struggled to finish this one. Also, don’t understand how all the bonus content is just a bunch of sex scenes. I get it coming from Miss Willa but I think we deserved better. Regardless, I can’t wait to read the next books in the series but this was a no from me.Waste of time and money
1By hezi801Super disappointed. I pre-ordered the book thinking it was the next book in the series. Nope. This just summarizes what happened in the previous books.Visions of Flesh and Blood
1By vvbbbbjvccvvcvbbUgh. This is just a character by character summary of the first 4 books. I’m so disappointed. I’m half way through and no actual plot has begun. It’s like a cheap AI written series summary for a cash grab. What the heck? This isn’t a story.
1By Ayvah311I assumed this would be the next book in the series, and I was so excited to read more about Casteel and Poppy’s adventures, but I was wrong-It’s not. I don’t even feel like reading much of it. What a waste of money.Hard to get through
5By AShade11I got through it so that I could say I did, but it was hard to get through. Having to REREAD everything you already know from both stories was not fun. It was quite frustrating in fact. Especially since book 5 was also a retelling as well, albeit from Casteel's perspective, which btw is significantly more significant than Willa's. And the exclusive content about her various conquests fell flat for me as they were meaningless one night stands with complete strangers. Not exactly the stuff real romance fantasy is made of. I'm sad to give this book a one star because the series is amazing. Books 1-4 were hard to put down, with book 5 slowing things down and now book 6 bringing things to a screeching, ear splitting halt. I would feel scammed about this book as other reviewers do, but I will give some grace here. There has to be a reason for this addition. Don't know what it could be and if it was really worth upsetting fans for, but a "valid" reason there must be. Whatever, I read it. Now onto book 7 please. No more retelling of plot lines and perspectives please. Onward with the story.Don’t need a recap, just what comes next
1By Lisaj2jI didn’t like reading about what I have already read about. To me this was a waste of time of money that I really don’t have to spend. I want to read what comes next, not about what I already have.Read this if you need to catch up
2By scammedstarIf you’ve read all the other books in the 2 series, skip this one as it just rehashes everything you’ve already read.A shocking waste!
2By She said:This book is a regurgitation of the author’s previous books. Had I known, I would never have purchased it. Very disappointed @Jennifer L. ArmentroutOverwhelmed with awe
5By Domo1212I bought this one in store and I would buy it again and again. Being a fan of this series from the beginning I was in tears when I first looked through this and saw so many cherished characters brought to life and being described by Miss Willa herself!! Inspiring. To anyone who think this is a waste of money shame on you. I would wait years for the continuation of this story because the world that Jennifer has created here is so astoundingly incredible I’ve read this entire series 4 times including the prequel and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes or move my soul in the same way it did the first time I read it. Truly a work of art. KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK JENNIFER!
