The 17th Suspect
By James Patterson & Maxine Paetro
The newest Women's Murder Club thriller--and instant #1 New York Times bestseller
A series of shootings exposes San Francisco to a methodical yet unpredictable killer, and a reluctant woman decides to put her trust in Sergeant Lindsay Boxer. The confidential informant's tip leads Lindsay to disturbing conclusions, including that something has gone horribly wrong inside the police department itself.
The hunt for the killer lures Lindsay out of her jurisdiction, and gets inside Lindsay in dangerous ways. She suffers unsettling medical symptoms, and her friends and confidantes in the Women's Murder Club warn Lindsay against taking the crimes too much to heart. With lives at stake, the detective can't help but follow the case into ever more terrifying terrain.
A decorated officer, loving wife, devoted mother, and loyal friend, Lindsay's unwavering integrity has never failed her. But now she is confronting a killer who is determined to undermine it all.
Meh2By OoogadaboogadaI really enjoy reading James Patterson’s books, usually. This one just didn’t do it for me. It came off super cheesy and cliche in a lot of parts. It seems rushed with no good storyline. I’m pretty surprised by how bad it was, actually. Very disappointing.
Eh2By TiaMcDI am a James Patterson fan but this series has become a bit drawn out and extremely predictable. This book almost seemed rushed like he had a deadline and just needed to put something out. There was no suspense or real mystery or drama.
Very good5By Dat man72Enjoyed this book. Fast pasted, love the characters. Great job!
Not the best but still love4By smsp721I Love this series since it came out. This series was all about Lindsey and Yuki, barely anything about Cindy and a Claire. Could have been longer but still enjoyed.
The 17 thsuspect2By cookie11faganWorst one yet. Should not prostitute himself for the dollar. I refuse to read another collaboration. Ur better than that
Excellent book!5By La Gato13I have read every women’s murder club book and loved them all if your looking for strong female characters, I highly recommend this book,it does not disappoint.
My first, but maybe the last of this series.3By bc310905Not as good as the reviews.
17th2By reader 17Very predicable
The 17th Suspect2By lmgrabowWorst of the series. No real plot, poor trial for so- called rapist, poor Investigation for homeless murders, Boxer’s sudden recurring illness: Yuki’s marriage conflicts also poor with no real explanation. Waste of $14.99.i have purchased my last women’s murder series book.lmgrabow
Ehhh3By Lins0917Feel like it’s too predictable & not as good as the rest. My favorite series but zipped through too quickly & feel like it was missing depth.
