- Excellent read- 5 - By ***SSK**** - James Patterson keeps his readers on his toes. Always intriguing books.
- W O W!!!!- 5 - By TDaleT - Fast paced and unpredictable storytelling. Loved the characters and the story lines and the way it moves quickly.
The Private books are becoming a favorite
- Amazing Edition- 5 - By tahaynesroberts - This was, once again, a very suspenseful and nail-biting edition to The Private Series. I enjoyed every minute of joining Craig, Mary, Darlene and Justine in solving all three cases.
- Private Down Under- 4 - By Qab854 - I hadn't read a James Patterson book in awhile and decided to read this one. It takes place in Australia and a lot of the locations I recognized. Private Sydney have a few cases going on that they have to solve. A killer is targeting rich elite women in a prominent part of town, the Triads are targeting an ex cop sons and someone is trying to kill a rockstar. This has family drama, suspense, deceit and so much more.
- Sloppy- 2 - By Suetap - Not enjoying this as much as other Private books. Only on chapter 9. May or may not finish. You can’t tell me someone is in a convertible with the top down then in the very next chapter describe how they got cut up crawling out of the passenger window after a crash. (The car was on its side, not upside down). There’s no roof! Just get out!How did you not catch that in the editing process? Sloppy.
- Terrible- 1 - By lala0581 - This is the worst of the Private Series. Do not buy it. Not only is the plot awful, the storyline doesn’t even align with the other Private novels. I think what makes it even worse is that nearly every female character is sexualized and described based solely on her beauty and physical attributes, even those that are casually mentioned to be highly intelligent (a total afterthought). I personally found this book to be offensive in its portrayal of women.
- Private Down Under- 2 - By Bobxxxz - It was ok, but not one of his best. Just fair
- Private down under- 2 - By Still none - The most disappointing of the Private series. Sloppy mistakes - changing tenses or person, and speaking of Celsius and Fahrenheit, even after all that explanation, got it wrong! Felt there were a lot of "fillers". Mr White needs some practice, and Mr Patterson need to pay closer attention!
- YouTuoby- 5 - By LGsmart TV - LGsmart TV
- Total trash- 1 - By SS in VA - This book is proof that Patterson can get anything published (as he just said). This book is complete garbage. No plot. No character development. No suspense. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. Shame on James Patterson for putting out such crap. I will think hard before buying another Patterson novel.
- Private Down Under- 5 - By mily818 - This was a boring, dull book. A terrible waste of time and money. No wonder James Patterson is putting through so many books so quickly. He evidently isn't requiring any reading enjoyment from them.
- Worst book ever- 1 - By ElMooon42 - Waste of money never another Private book my dog could write a better book.
Waste of money
- I tried to like this book...- 5 - By Wordesmythe - ...for 125 pages, I tried, then decided my time was more valuable than this sorry excuse of a book. What a waste of talent and money!
- Private down under- 1 - By Raymeedee - Poorly written, a waste of time and money
- Private Down Under- 1 - By Whiterose321 - Horrible!!! Would give 0 stars if it were possible!
- The worst!- 1 - By BrianL99 - I've read all the "Private" series & this one is
strictly bush league.
There's no plot, no character development, no suspense ... pablum of the lowest order.
- Private Down Under- 1 - By love books 12 - This is the worst Patterson book! I know he doesn't actually write these himself anymore, but he should read them before he puts his name on them. Don't waste your money
- Waste of money- 1 - By Reads constantly - This was a terrible Patterson book. No suspense, very predictable plot. Reads like he phones it in.
