Description
The world's most exclusive detective agency opens a new office-in Australia!
With the best detectives in the business, cutting edge technology and offices around the globe, there is no investigation company quite like Private. Now, at a glittering launch party overlooking the iconic Opera House, Private Sydney throws open its doors.
Craig Gisto and his newly formed team have barely raised their glasses, however, when a young Asian man, blood-soaked and bullet-ridden, staggers into the party, and what looks like a botched kidnapping turns out to be a whole lot more.
Within days the agency's caseload is full. But it is a horrific murder in the wealthy Eastern Suburbs and the desperate search for a motive that stretches the team to the limit. Stacy Friel, friend of the Deputy Commissioner of NSW Police, isn't the killer's first victim-and as the bodies mount up she's clearly not the last . . .

5By TDaleTFast paced and unpredictable storytelling. Loved the characters and the story lines and the way it moves quickly. The Private books are becoming a favoriteAmazing Edition
5By tahaynesrobertsThis was, once again, a very suspenseful and nail-biting edition to The Private Series. I enjoyed every minute of joining Craig, Mary, Darlene and Justine in solving all three cases.Private Down Under
4By Qab854I hadn't read a James Patterson book in awhile and decided to read this one. It takes place in Australia and a lot of the locations I recognized. Private Sydney have a few cases going on that they have to solve. A killer is targeting rich elite women in a prominent part of town, the Triads are targeting an ex cop sons and someone is trying to kill a rockstar. This has family drama, suspense, deceit and so much more.Sloppy
2By SuetapNot enjoying this as much as other Private books. Only on chapter 9. May or may not finish. You can’t tell me someone is in a convertible with the top down then in the very next chapter describe how they got cut up crawling out of the passenger window after a crash. (The car was on its side, not upside down). There’s no roof! Just get out!How did you not catch that in the editing process? Sloppy.Terrible
1By lala0581This is the worst of the Private Series. Do not buy it. Not only is the plot awful, the storyline doesn’t even align with the other Private novels. I think what makes it even worse is that nearly every female character is sexualized and described based solely on her beauty and physical attributes, even those that are casually mentioned to be highly intelligent (a total afterthought). I personally found this book to be offensive in its portrayal of women.Private Down Under
2By BobxxxzIt was ok, but not one of his best. Just fairPrivate down under
2By Still noneThe most disappointing of the Private series. Sloppy mistakes - changing tenses or person, and speaking of Celsius and Fahrenheit, even after all that explanation, got it wrong! Felt there were a lot of "fillers". Mr White needs some practice, and Mr Patterson need to pay closer attention!YouTuoby

1By SS in VAThis book is proof that Patterson can get anything published (as he just said). This book is complete garbage. No plot. No character development. No suspense. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. Shame on James Patterson for putting out such crap. I will think hard before buying another Patterson novel.
