Tough-as-nails criminal defense attorney Jane Smith is hip-deep in the murder trial of the century.
Actually, her charmless client might’ve committed several murders.
She’s also fallen in love with a wonderful guy. And an equally wonderful dog, a mutt.
But Jane doesn’t have much time. She’s just received a terminal diagnosis giving her twelve months.
Unless she’s murdered before her expiration date.
Reviews
Just OK
3By MLWMWMUnless there will be a sequel, the ending was not good. A sequel could turn it around but as a whole, it was the first disappointing Patterson book I’ve read. A lot of little loose ends.Disappointing at best
2By TJ PAWLEYSThis tome is overburdened by page filling text! The stories with the story are so overwritten that is was an obvious effort to simply make a marginal plot longer. And the ending, not to spoil anything, is frankly way below Patterson’s standards.Good read
4By Teacher MopsIt was a little slow to get going but then it was hard to put down.No substance
1By Coolguy02This was a very lazy effort to writing a story. No meat on these bones. I really expected more from these accomplished authors. Maybe their kids wrote the book for them. Ending was terrible with too many loose ends. Definitely a money grab since they were promoting the book heavily.Good until the ending
1By hollace12Horrible endingNot up to Patterson’s standards
1By Bad8ballerFor 14.99 it was very short. Additionally, the sentence structure was choppy and at times hard to understand. Then the novel stopped abruptly without reaching conclusions concerning all of the characters.
