Awesome read ! I could not put it down!
  • Hallmark Type Story

This one reads like a Hallmark made for TV movie where the writer had two glasses of wine to toss in some naughty scenes that could easily be adapted for the network. Granted, with the little plot twist, the writer also channeled in a Lifetime vengeance type storyline. All in all. Fairly squeaky clean story with some open door. It’s not great, it’s not bad, it’s a fingers crossed “maybe I’ll like it,” but eeeeh at best. Female character comes home. Guy let’s her know he’s held a torch for her for years. They date, and it’s the same old “do I stay or do I go?”

Loved this series and this story of Maggie and Porter! Intrigue, danger, and just a rotten human being who doesn’t care about destroying other people’s lived finally gets what’s coming to him. Love that survives for 12 years and trust restored.

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from BookSprout Bring It On Home is book 4 in the Misfit Inn series by Kait Nolan. Now it’s Maggie and Porter’s turn. We know some of the history between these two from the prior books but WOW totally didn’t realize the depth of their history and the secrets they carry. When Maggie collapses from exhaustion burning the candle at both ends, Porter flies to California to bring her home to recuperate so her sisters don’t worry. While she has never been idle it will be a challenge keeping her down. When talks of getting the Eden’s Artisan Guild off the ground she knows she can help as this is what she does in California...but her past is coming back to haunt her with all the town talk, secrets she thinks are buried, and a man who wants to be more than just her friend... This story gives you all the feels, tears, laughter, secrets, family, friends who understand and hopes for a love everlasting...can Maggie and Porter find their HEA??

Bring It On Home is a beautifully woven story of all things powerful: dreams, courage, trust, strength , family, careers, karma and true love. The lives of these characters and their families and friends are so rich and downright interesting that I wanted to continue living with them long after the last page. Although the book is a standalone, there’s more where this came from! Treat yourself to the entire Misfit Inn Series. Each story has its own personality. I know when I pickup a Kait Nolan book that I’m going to find new friends and adventures, and although I’ll want to savor her beautifully written descriptions, I won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough as I’m carried away with the story. It happens every single time. Maggie and Porter’s story is the best one yet! Couldn’t put it down until the wonderful ending. Great read!! I loved the Misfit Series by Kait Nolan. Bring It On Home Is a wonderful addition to the series and I am sad that this is the last book in the series. I loved that Maggie’s and Porter are having a second chance at love and are best friends since childhood. This book is heartwarming it deals with loss and grief. Kait Nolan wrote a beautiful story that you become emotionally involved in and you will not be able to put it down. I loved this book. The bond between Porter and Maggie has survived sadness, separation, gossip and secrets. This latest installment of the Misfit Inn series involves all of these things but more than that, it’s about love. Love between old friends, and, hopefully, new lovers. Between sisters, mothers and daughters, and significant others. I read this book in one sitting, anxious to see what happens, but invariably both sad and happy as I reached the end. As a fan of the series, as well as the romance genre in general, the epilogue hit the perfect note. And maybe gave us a look into the future? Great characters, great dialogue, great family dynamics...Kait Nolan has another winner in Bring It On Home!

I love this series of books. The sisters are a great group of diverse women who would do anything for each other. The inclusiveness of of the ever expanding family makes me smile. This is the last sister to find her way and all I can say is I’m really sorry if this is the last of the series.
