A wonderful story line. Amazing characters. Sad at beginning, but took off right away. 4 sisters, all taken in by a women with a huge home. Many came and Stayed, then left. She named her home the Misfit Inn. So. True, as you get into the story. So. Many emotions, my heart hurt, tears formed, anger, happiness, forgiveness and more. Thank you for this book.

Great second chances story with lovable characters
Good title but it actually should be 100 ways to make a reader cry

This story is so good. The more you get to know Kennedy the more you cry. That’s it you’ll love how strong and independent she is, she had no other choice unfortunately. As someone who had to leave home and never come back.
This story hits close to reality and I cried so much because she had that closure I’ve never been able to achieve.
Xander was a really goo and understanding character that once he saw things through her shoes he realized his mistake and I love him for it.
Too bad I can’t have a Xander like this one in my life but I’ll re read so many times.

Good Book: Needs editing though

The book was heartwarming, with great characters. However, there are a lot of run-on sentences, that detracted from the book. If the book had an editor, the book would have been bought or recommended more. Plus, the reviews would be higher & in turn it would earn the writer more money!! Think about it & you know that is true!!
Loved it

I received an ARC of this book from Kait Nolan and have chosen to review it. What a great way to start a series the characters just drew me in and didn’t want to let me go. This book was just so easy to read. I finished it within a day and I can’t wait for the next one. I fell absolutely in love with the Reynolds sister and it was great to see one of them find their happily ever after. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to fall even more in love with this family. This book was just a truly wonderful and beautiful story.

Second book I have read by this author and it didn’t disappoint. A good read that reminds me of Nora Roberts and her books about families trials and tribulations, but ultimately reaches an HEA.
Great read!

Stand alone book. Characters were well developed, great story line and it was heart warming. It did get a little talky… I almost wanted to skip a few pages. I didn’t but wanted to, not wanting to miss something important. But overall a great read and very emotional, I did get teary eyed.
Lovely read!

I loved this story! I loved the characters, story line & the family unit that existed. But especially the connection that remained between Kennedy and Xander. I’ve read the entire Misfit Inn series & LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEM❣️

Love the characters...sisters ( Pru, Maggie, Athena, and Kennedy) who are brought together again with the death of their mother who was in the process of adopting Ari, her final adopted daughter. Xander, Kennedy’s true love evens out the main characters in the story.
Can Kennedy finally bridge the emotional issues her abrupt leaving 10 years ago caused her family as well as the only man she has ever loved?
Secrets split the family. Can enough forgiveness exist to make this family whole again?
I recommend this book to readers who want to delve into the realm of guilt, love and forgiveness.

This was an amazing love story . When Kennedy left Xander in the middle of the night after high school graduation he never knew why because of the love they shared he was heartbroken . Then 10 years later when her mother was killed in an accident Kennedy came home . Read this great book and find out about all that had happened to make her leave. Such a heart warming story. I love it.

Kennedy is one of four foster children adopted by Joan. She would be considered the black sheep of the family; living a somewhat nomadic life but managing to sustain herself. It was a lifestyle her sisters didn't understand, but I feel that she chose her life path because of the reasons she had to stay away. She was driven to constantly find a place to fit in since she couldn't return home.
I LOVED this story! While I was upset at the way her sisters treated her so poorly when she returned and not having confidence that she would pull through for Ari and for the inn, it was heart-warming to see her sisters' views of her change. Kennedy finally felt accepted by her family.
I wasn't expecting Kennedy and Xander to get back together so quickly. But, it surely made sense knowing that they both never stopped loving the other. It makes one believe in second chances.
I can't wait for the next book in the series!
Great romance with intrigue

I was swept away into this story of an amazing young woman who sets aside her adventurous life abroad to return home when her adoptive mother dies, and her sisters need her help. An intriguing story unfolds as her mysterious departure ten years before complicates her homecoming for the loved ones she left behind. The characters are beautifully developed with vibrant & distinct personalities, pulling the reader into their midst. Her first & only love has never gotten over her & she’s just as passionately in love with him, but she has a lot of explaining to do before they can embrace a life together. I really enjoyed spending time in Eden Ridge, and with the family from the Misfit Inn, and will definitely look for more stories in this series!
Great read!

What a great addition and follow up to “Snowed in With the Ranger”! Honestly, I was one of those people who secretly wanted a longer story, so I was grateful when the masses requested it. I loved the build-up between Ivy and Harrison and loved the behind the scenes on his end to make the story even broader. The chemistry remains, but the story evolves into a full length romance. I would recommend this read on a snowy day… or a day you wish it was cold outside!
Disclosure: I have received a copy of this book from the author and have chosen to review it with my honest opinion.
When You Got A Good Thing

ARC for honest review with no compensation and what a way to start a new series, Kait Nolan! ! !
When You Got a Good Thing is about two young friends/lovers who end up star crossed at age 18 and now 10 years later meet up again at a funeral…
Kennedy Reynolds has been on the “run” for the last 10 years, thru no fault of her own but the rest of her family do not know the “real reason” she left all those years ago. She has traveled all over the world and is living in Ireland doing a blog of her travels. She has always felt she was missing something but could never put her finger on what it was…..until she receives word that her “adopted” mother has passed away and she needs to return home to help her other “adopted sisters” but can she stay in the town permanently, move forward from what happened in the past and make things right with Xander??? (Mom was a foster parent who adopted four girls and was in the process of adopting another girl when she passed).
Xander, who never left the town other than to go to college and return back to town to work in law enforcement is still angry at Kennedy after all these years but now that she has come back for the funeral he is determined to get his answers so he can move on with his life once and for all. When he sees her again the old feelings return but he tries to push them away…..
As Xander and Kennedy try to work through the past and move on she also has to figure out how to make up with her sisters who still think she is a screw up with no formal education and meet the new sister who is having problems coming to grips with the death of her “foster mom” and worrying about what will happen to her now that she was never formally adopted…..
So many sub plots in this story but they flow together to make you understand the working of the foster home known to them as the Misfit Inn that they grew up in, how each sister became who she is as an adult. how they will do anything to make a life for the young sister who was never fully adopted and for Kennedy to finally find out the “real truth” behind what happened 10 years ago and whether she and Xander can put the past behind and have a life together????
Once you start the book it grabs you in and you may need some tissues, but you will not be able to put it down until the very last word…..it is that good! ! !
Great Read!
