Loved Emerson and Caleb’s story

I LOVED this book and the fact that it went to both of the main characters’ point of view! It was an amazing read that I couldn’t seem to put down.

This is the third books I have read from the series and they get better and better. I love all the characters and the way the author spins in a fantastic story.

Good plot but too many accidents woven that did not make it realistic. Closed door intimacy more romantic than too much description.

Let It Be Me, didn't disappoint in the continuation of the Misfit Inn saga. Kait visiting the brothers of Joan's foster family is a brilliant move. Emerson and Caleb made the pages sizzle with sexual tension, whew! Kait's portrayal of real life and character growth is magnificent. Accepting love and risking friendship for something more is scary. Kait created just the right combination of fear and chemistry to make these characters come alive. The Misfit Inn books are some of my favorites by Kait Nolan, and I’ve always wanted to learn more about some of the other children who lived there. In this book we meet Caleb, who lived there as a child. As a mom of daughters, I adored the aunt/mother-daughter relationship between Emerson and Fi almost as much as the romance between Emerson and Caleb. Definitely recommend you read this one! There is nothing not to love about Let It Be Me! Younger, hot firefighter secretly loves the single mom/guardian of a teen he rescues. Convinces single mom to give him a chance and then when they finally decide to take things to the next level...they can’t manage to get time alone. I laughed several times because as a parent of teens and a toddler, the relatable chase for the elusive alone time is so frustrating! This is definitely worth the read! I can’t believe the way I get caught up in Kait Nolan’s stories. Reading her books means stepping into another place for awhile where you’re surrounded by new friends and family who have your back when life dumps on you, and where love and romance knock you off your feet. “Let It Be Me” is an amazing story about true love in many shapes and forms. From a hot firefighter’s love for a woman he admires and supports unrequited for years while she’s in survival mode, to a very special relationship between this woman and her goddaughter when tragic events bring the 3 of them together. Add in some perceptive and outspoken friends and family, and I don’t want this book to end! And the great news is that it doesn’t have to! Yes, it’s a standalone with a satisfying HEA. But it’s also the beginning of a new series, with a bonus of ties to the Misfit Inn series as well. Nicely done and a great read! I loved the Misfit Inn series and Let It Be Me is a wonderful start to the Men of Misfit Inn series by Kait Nolan. This is a heartwarming story brought on by tragic events for Emerson who then adopts her best friend daughter and Caleb, a firefighter who rescued Fiona and stayed involved in the lives. I love how the Caleb is there for Emerson and her adopted daughter Fiona and has been secretly in love with Emerson. The story of Caleb and Emerson is uplifting, heart wrenching and truly a beautiful love story. I really enjoyed this beautifully written story about Emerson and Caleb. I highly recommend reading it. Being a long time fan of Kait Nolan’s writing and characters, I read this one expecting it to be good. I WAS MINDBLOWN. I had no expectations of Caleb or Emerson and I happily swooned at Caleb all through the book. My heart was beating fast as I read this book, I felt like I was in this myself and I don’t have any words to describe Caleb. I’ve read the book 3 times already! I want to move next door to them.
