Good read with a dash of suspense
4By FlyGuy0711Took me a bit to realise it’s basically 2 books in 1. Great writing as usual and kept me engaged, but seemed to be rather predictable at times. Good read!Great

5By Hot mimiThis book is very easy to read and very interesting. I liked it a lot.2 great endings
5By santeereader❤️Wow
5By deafy41Suspenseful and sad at the same time plus it’s kinda real cause sex trafficking has never disappeared, am glad that justice was served and the conclusion was happy and a bit disturbing at the same time. I hope they make this into a book series.Average at best
3By JerryBGoodeThis is two books and both of the female protagonists are over- done emotional caricatrures of what it take to be a trial lawyer. I was one for 38 years. You cannot just cry all the time as things don’t go your way. The legal rulings and the whole concept of the dominant crooked Judge in the first story is beyond any sense of reality. The second story is much better and the trial aspects more true to what actually happens in court but the writing is at times sophomoric.Jailhouse Lawyer
5By demielaTerrible waste of time.Difficult Topic
5By STEMteacher2020It’s always satisfying when the bad guy gets caught. And it’s Patterson. Always fun to read. Two for bone
