Every song tells a story.

She’s a star on the rise, singing about the hard life behind her.

She’s also on the run. Find a future, lose a past.

Nashville is where she’s come to claim her destiny.  It’s also where the darkness she’s fled might find her.  And destroy her.

Run, Rose, Run is a novel glittering with danger and desire—a story that only America’s #1 beloved entertainer and its #1 bestselling author could have created.

  • Worth the Money…..

I am a big Dolly Parton fanatic, and have been wanting to read this book every since it has come out. To me the book was worth the money that I paid for it, and it kept me wanting to read more and more of it every time I world start reading it. I would hope that there you be a second part to this book so I can see how Ethan and AliceLee aka Rose goes in life.

I loved this book. I love all James Patterson’s books but Dolly Parton gave it an extra kick. I hope the two of you write another book together 🙏❤️🙏
  • Underwhelming

I really, really wanted to love this book, but this was one I struggled to finish. Very slow and predictable. The ending was rushed and underdeveloped. So many details were left unresolved. All in all, Run Rose Run was extremely underwhelming.

The book just didn’t grab me. I love Dolly and James but this one was just ok. I finished it but it wasn’t a page turner.
  • Come on, really?

The storyline should have had an ending that included Rose saving her sisters!
  • I could hear Dolly’s voice

It was a good book, just not my cup of tea compared to other James Patterson books I’ve loved.
  • A very exciting & unpredictable book

I really liked the characters, except for the small town creeps! I would have liked to know what happened to the girls left behind in that house. This was a story of female fortitude! A woman with guts to get it done!!! Thank you, Dolly & James!!!!! Debora Dickinson Chicago
