Description
“Expect to be spellbound”* by Patricia Briggs’s #1 New York Times bestselling series starring Mercy Thompson. Being a lowly “walker” in a world of vampires, werewolves, and fae once kept her safe. But Mercy’s bark—and bite—are not so harmless any more…
Though Mercy can shift her shape into that of a coyote, her loyalty never wavers. So when her former boss and mentor, Zee, asks for her help, she’s there for him. A series of murders has rocked a fae reservation, and Zee needs her unique gifts, namely her coyote sense of smell, to sniff out the killer.
But when Zee is accused of murdering the suspect Mercy outed, he’s left to rot behind bars by his own kind. Now it’s up to Mercy to clear his name, whether he wants her to or not.
Mercy’s loyalty is under pressure from other directions, too. Werewolves are not known for their patience, and if Mercy can’t decide between the two she cares for, Sam and Adam may make the choice for her...

Wonderful
5By M&GfamilyfunI love this series and how the author develops the characters. This is one of the most sensitive portrayals of rape and recovery in a strong woman that I have ever read. These books are amazing and I keep re-reading them!Dang. My 3rd time reading
5By wnf4521Dang. My 3rd time reading and I have to admit I had some trepidation about reading it again. But none of Patricia Briggs’s EVER disappoint. If you ever thought to try something new or out of the norm for yourself, give Mercy Thompson a try. You won’t regret it!I love this book series.
5By MamaQuintanaI have reread all of them time and time again and it never gets old. Can’t wait to read the next book every time. Thank youVery good!
5By jennie104This one made me cry with emotion when Ben has his talk with Adam. Very good character development!!!Loved it
5By bmore1130Great book! Mercy was asked to do a favor for the fae and zee was caught as a murder suspect. Mercy is told to back down but know her she does the opposite to prove zee’s innocence. It’s sad for what mercy goes thru just to do that but she overcomes any obstacle at her. I definitely recommend this series. The series steps up here
4By Froody 2This became good urban fantasy with this novel. It’s strong reminiscent of the Dresden Files, in that the main character is on the back foot, struggling against supernatural forces beyond her ken. She winds up drawing on previously revealed groups and trying to balance the various factions against each other.Review
5By Animefan123smAwesome....just awesome.Keeps getting better
5By Savvy ApperFirst werewolves, then vampires, now the fae take center stage in the third Mercy Thompson book. The romantic tension between Mercy, Adam and Samuel finally sees a resolution, and once again we see deeper into the supporting characters. The plot is better crafted than the first two books. SPOILER WARNING: This book deals directly with sexual violence towards women. I think Briggs does a good job writing that part by not getting graphic with the act but dealing instead with the emotional aftermath. However, if that's not a topic you're comfortable reading about, then maybe skip this book (or the ending).Yummy
5By Mykie.SkittlesThis series, as well as all her other books thus far are enticing and addicting. I can never be satisfied with finishing one book without wanting more. Patricia Briggs is amazing and ensnaring withher works.Awesome!
