Description
#1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs invites readers to follow her into the seductive realm of the Alpha and Omega series…
Anne Latham didn't know how complicated life could be until she became a werewolf and was mated to Charles Cornick, the son—and enforcer—of the leader of the North American werewolves. She didn't know how dangerous it could be either...
Anna and Charles have just been enlisted to attend a summit to present Bran's controversial proposition: that the wolves should finally reveal themselves to humans. But the most feared Alpha in Europe is dead set against the plan—and it seems like someone else might be, too. When Anna is attacked by vampires using pack magic, the kind of power only werewolves should be able to draw on, Charles and Anna must combine their talents to hunt down whoever is behind it all—or risk losing everything...

5By CoastyST2I normally do not like romance novel disguised as fantasy! This was not such a book! Patricia Briggs walks such a fine line with the Alpha & Omega story line that she is earning the sobriquet of Master Story Teller. These stories are well worth the money. I do advise reading them in order even though they will stand alone. Characters are introduced in each book and developed in every book. It makes reading them like building an understanding of new friends. Each encounter brings new insight into the people. Great reading requires that the author grab your attention within the first page. Then the story line makes you suspend disbelief. Last the tale MUST capture your imagination so that the last word on the last page comes as a shock that makes you wonder which world was real! The one your imagination has built or the one now surrounding you! This series and the Mercy Thompson series both do all three! Enjoy
