I think that mercy got the wedding that she deserved, and at least part of the honeymoon she deserved. I think she deserves the second half of the honeymoon without a big giant monster in it. Maybe Paris? Really enjoyed the book. It is nice to see Mercy and Adam in Love.

Another excellent book in the Mercy Thompson series! Mercy and Adam are mated and well slated to get married. Yes, we will have a honeymoon but there is more twists in this story and action. Let's not forget making new friends, humor, love and an awesome ending! On to the next book in the series as I am hooked and you will be too!

Once again, Briggs brings a completely fresh story with a style all its own to the world of Mercy Thompson. For better or worse, this time we leave the Tri-Cities and the supporting characters behind to give Mercy and Adam some alone time and explore Mercy's heritage. Oh, and battle mythical water creatures with the help of Platonic forms of animals. This book is far more straight fantasy than the previous books, which I enjoyed but others might disagree. I missed the usual suspects, but there are some great characters introduced her that keep the plot rich. I can't wait to read what happens to Mercy next.

It's the 6th volume of this series and it's still being strong!! The characters are great and realistic and the story plots are just fantastic and entertaining ;D

I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the other books where Mercy n Adam are involved. I love their adventures and the different characters presented in the books. Two thumbs up!

I really enjoyed this book as well as the others in this series. I will always hope that there is another story around the corner. I am a very big fan!!

This new title adds a lot to the story and answers a lot of questions that I think most readers have been waiting for to be answered! All in all I rate this book on a one to ten scale A 1000

Absolutely great... its an intro i believe to whats to come but i believe it was more of a show of their love and how she admits it and feels... i liked it a lot

River Marked had me trapped from the first. I have come to know all of the characters so well that I have begun to feel what they may feel, and to truly love and appreciate them as I do my own family. I even find myself frustrated or angry at them at times when they behave stupidly in dangerous situations, or when they have huge pity parties for themselves that hurt, cause pain, or endanger those around them. After this book I find myself impatient to read the next adventure, wondering just what trouble Mercy will get herself and those around her into next! I can only hope that we hear from her again soon.

I loved it! Fast paced and just enough of the love story entwined in the storyline.

I love the Mercy Thompson series and this book is my favorite so far. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. And I sobbed like a sap during the last pages. Definitely read this one, you won't regret it.

This book is the last in a series of six, so please go back and read them in the proper order. As far as this particular installment, suspenseful, clever, romantic, captivating are a few words to describe it. This entire series has been that way, taking me into the story, until the porch I was sitting on, the sun in my face, no longer existed. Mercy is a character that you will fall in love with, and feel as though she is your friend long after you place your bookmark in-between the pages. For anyone looking for a story that is strong, well-written, and will have you clutching the table and squealing, the Moon Called series by Patricia Briggs is certainly a way to go. I love this Mercedes Thompson series best -of all of Brigg's characters! She is always in the wrong place at the wrong time, but always up for a good fight. I enjoyed this book and learning more about Mercedes' ancestry. I can't wait for the next installment. Hope she gets pregnant and sees what happens with that situation...

I started the book two days ago and finished last night. Being a moron I read ahead but I only read the last three pages and those of you who have read, know what they consist of, so I struggled through till the end balling my eyes out wishing Adam and Mercy had more alone time. I promise it is a must read. Σ(￣▽￣ﾉ)ﾉ
