4By D1782Ok, so aside from the awesome love story between John and Xhex, and the little inserts to Quinn and Blaylock( which were hot and heartbreaking) what the hell happened to Darius being revealed?? Am I the only one who read the summary and description. I got his back lay story and it was good, but wasn't he returning or were we supposed to figure that him an johns mind became one because it said so which I feel is a gip! And Murhder?? I guess I'll read about him in the next book because that side story involving Greg made no sense but whatever. I'm enjoying the overall series. An to be honest I'm really passing thru now to get to Lovers at Last with Blay and Quinn!!! I can't waitGreat

5By JCBookwormI was also afraid the series was losing it's magic- it lost some momentum for me with 'Lover Enshrined' but I went ahead and read 'Lover Avenged' anyway and was so glad I did cause I got back into it.. 'Lover Mine' was like 'Lover Awakened' for me. Great storyline- All the parts finally come together & make a beautiful love story!!! :) I did not expect to love this book like I did...AMAZING!!!!!

Ward has an amazing success here and it could be never ending. So many left to write still!Liked it but could have been better considering the previous books

4By RthresherI have always had a hard time imagining John as anything but a wimpy pretrans. His and Xhex's story helped me a little to envision him as who he is. It would be nice to see if he finally realizes who he is too. I didn't get the need for the paranormal characters but I guess it filled up space. Payne was an ok addition, but I really would've liked to see the next book focus on the Brothers not her. I'll read the newest book in hopes to get more time with the rest of the brothers. This was not one of my favorites but was definitely worth the read.
